About me and my therapy practice
Thank you for landing on my profile. I understand that reaching out for support can feel daunting, especially when you're facing emotional challenges or feeling overwhelmed. As a qualified person-centred therapist, I offer a safe, empathetic, and non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever is troubling you at your own pace. Whether you're navigating anxiety, loss, relationship issues, or simply seeking greater self-understanding, I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion, respect and authenticity.
My deep interest in empathic listening grew from working through my own emotional challenges. These personal experiences have shaped my approach to counselling, allowing me to meet others with openness, humility and a heartfelt belief in the healing power of being truly heard.
In addition to my private practice I work with several charities who do wonderful work in supporting people who are struggling with the emotional challenges of life and I have extensive experience in working together to ease that burden.
I feel especially connected to supporting individuals who live with anxiety and depression, those navigating the complexities of trauma, and those exploring or embracing their neurodivergent identity. These can be painful, overwhelming and often misunderstood experiences. I seek to walk beside you with compassion and care, offering a space where they can begin to make sense of what feels difficult or fragmented—and perhaps discover new ways of relating to themselves.
Practice description
I offer counselling sessions both online and in person in Eastbourne, and I have the option of home visits or outdoor therapy if that is what you are seeking. I also offer a free 15-minute consultation to see how we might work together and ensure you feel comfortable moving forward.
As a person-centred counsellor, I believe deeply in your capacity for growth and healing. I don’t offer solutions from the outside - I offer a relationship in which you can reconnect with your own inner wisdom. In our work together, we might explore your thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations, or patterns of relating, gently and with respect. Our sessions are shaped by your pace, your needs, and your lived experience.
I see counselling as a collaborative, evolving process—one that honours your vulnerability as well as your strength. I’m not here to fix you; I’m here to support you as you move toward greater clarity, wholeness and self-trust.
