About me and my therapy practice
*FREE First Session*
Hello, I'm Emily.
I offer online therapy sessions from the comfort and privacy of your own home. I work with professionals and students experiencing anxiety, overwhelm or relationship challenges.
When you're used to keeping everything together, it can be difficult to know where to turn when things start to feel too much.
I believe therapy offers a safe, confidential space to slow down, understand what’s happening internally and find a way forward that feels more manageable.
Practice description
I work with professionals, freelancers and students who may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck or struggling to manage the pressures and expectations around them. You may be used to coping well and being dependable, but finding it harder to switch off, manage expectations or make sense of how you’re feeling.
Starting therapy can feel daunting, particularly when life is already busy. Online therapy offers the flexibility to fit sessions around work or study, without the need to travel or add another demand to your day.
My approach is warm, thoughtful and collaborative. I draw from psychodynamic theory and my therapy experience to explore how past experiences and relationships can shape the way we think, feel and relate in the present. Alongside my therapeutic training, I have a background in psychology and an interest in neuroscience, which informs my understanding of emotional experience and the mind.
I believe therapy can be a space to slow down, feel understood and make sense of what may be happening beneath the surface. Together, we can explore patterns, pressures and difficulties that may be affecting your work, studies, relationships or sense of self.
If you think we might work well together, please get in touch via the contact form. I look forward to hearing from you.
My first session
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and see how it feels to talk together.
You can share what has brought you to therapy, and we can begin to think about what you might want support with. There is no pressure to say everything at the beginning, and we can work at a pace that feels right for you.
The first sessions are also about seeing whether we feel like a good fit, and whether this feels like a space where you can talk openly.

About me and my therapy practice
*FREE initial session*
I understand that starting therapy can sometimes feel daunting, so empathy, care and reflection are integral to my process.
When it comes to working with anxiety, overthinking and relational challenges, I’ve learned how important it is for people to have a place where they don’t have to manage everything alone.
I believe therapy can be a place to slow things down and begin to understand yourself more clearly - not to fix you, but to help you make sense of things in a way that feels more manageable.
My approach is warm, thoughtful and collaborative. I draw on psychodynamic theory and my therapy experience to explore how past experiences and relationships can shape how we think, feel, and relate in the present. Practice description
I offer a safe and confidential space where you can talk about what’s going on for you at your own pace. Each session begins on the hour and lasts up to 50 minutes.
I don’t offer advice or quick solutions. Instead, I listen closely with you, and we think together about what your experiences might mean and how they connect across your life and relationships.
Over time, this can help you understand yourself more clearly, notice patterns that may be repeating, and find ways of relating to yourself and others that feel more steady and manageable.
