About Me
I believe that the connection between client and therapist is central to effective counselling. A trusting therapeutic relationship can provide the foundation for meaningful change and personal growth.
As a therapist, I aim to be compassionate, attentive and engaged in our work together. I seek to attune to your experiences and support you in developing deeper self-awareness, making sense of your thoughts and feelings, and working towards your counselling goals.

My Approach
I have experience supporting clients with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, family issues, loss and trauma. My integrative relational approach is warm, compassionate and without judgment. I draw on a variety of therapeutic approaches, including humanistic and psychodynamic, allowing me to thoughtfully tailor therapy to your individual needs.
My aim is for the space we create together to feel safe and accepting. We will work collaboratively, exploring the concerns and experiences you choose to bring at your own pace. Reflecting on past experiences can often help us understand how they may be influencing how you feel and relate to others in the present. Together, we can develop deeper insight and move towards the changes and understanding you hope to gain from counselling.
My first session
I understand that starting counselling can feel like a big step, and it’s important to find a counsellor who feels right for you. I offer a free 20-minute telephone consultation so we can briefly talk and see whether working together feels like a good fit.
