About me and my therapy practice

I support clients to find clarity, confidence and connection.

Life can be complicated. Is your mood interfering with your work or personal commitments? Challenges, demands, tensions, conflicts, feelings of numbness can be overwhelming and interfere with daily activities. I provide a confidential space and the freedom to speak perhaps in ways you’ve never felt able to before. Somewhere to be heard, somewhere to share.

I listen and support, without judgment, honouring your lived experiences and how they may shape your present and future. Together, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you, exploring areas where you may feel stuck and discover ways to bring greater balance and ease to difficult emotions.

In a safe, confidential space we’ll explore your thoughts and feelings. I may ask about your early life experiences as I find that reflecting on the past can shed light on present challenges. Using this psychodynamic approach can uncover recurring patterns, and we can explore how they influence your choices. Together we can discover and recognise patterns and emotional reactions. We may appreciate why they arise and understand their limits and reflect on whether they benefit you or hold you back.  Recognising these patterns can create opportunities for new perspectives that in turn can change outcomes, offer a greater sense of calm and help you be in charge and take better control.

Practice description

The foundation of my practice is empathy and understanding, with a focus on how you experience the world and the challenges you face. I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to tailor sessions that support your individual needs. My training is in integrative therapy, combining a person-centred approach with psychodynamic insights to explore how past experiences can shape your present and future.

I am committed to ongoing professional development to deepen my knowledge and to ensure that I offer effective, up-to-date support. I also engage in regular supervision to maintain the quality of my work and to uphold the ethical standards of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Â鶹ԭ´´), of which I am a member.

I offer both online sessions via Zoom and in-person therapy in a private, calm setting in Kensal Rise, London (NW10), close to Kensal Rise and Kensal Green stations as well as local bus routes. Our first session is a chance to explore how we might work together - discussing frequency, duration, and what you can expect. While weekly sessions at a regular time are encouraged, I understand the demands of busy lives and can offer flexible options, including a hybrid of in-person and online sessions when needed.

I am a member of the Â鶹ԭ´´ and abide by their ethical framework and practise. I attend regular supervision to support my therapeutic practice.

My first session

I understand starting therapy can be daunting. Before we begin I will send you a brief assessment for you to fill in and return so I get a little information about you and why you want to start therapy.

I will then take your lead as to what you want to bring to our first session so we can begin gently without pressure.
