Availability
I currently have availability for new clients on weekday evenings and Saturdays, with the option of meeting either in person or online. I understand that life is busy, so I aim to offer times and ways of working that can fit comfortably around your commitments.
Whether you prefer the safety and convenience of online sessions or the space of meeting face-to-face, I will work with you to find what feels most supportive. Some clients value the consistency of a regular weekly slot, while others appreciate flexibility as their schedules change, and I’m happy to discuss what works best for you.
Reaching out for counselling can sometimes feel like a big step, so my focus is on creating a welcoming and calm environment where you can explore whatever feels important at your own pace. If you’d like to know more or arrange a first session, please feel free to get in touch, I’d be glad to hear from you.
About me and my therapy practice
When you come to therapy with me, you can expect a warm, open, and collaborative space where your experiences are taken seriously and your pace is respected. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to walk alongside you as you explore what feels important, helping you make sense of your thoughts and feelings in a safe and supportive way.
I recognise that sitting face-to-face and talking isn’t always the most effective or comfortable way for everyone to explore their experiences. Because of this, I offer a range of approaches to suit different needs. Alongside traditional talking therapy, I incorporate creative methods such as painting, photography, sand play, and clay, allowing for expression beyond words. I also work in a walk-and-talk capacity, taking therapy outside the therapy room and creating a dynamic space for reflection and connection.
My areas of focus include working with trauma, domestic violence, adverse childhood experiences, and different forms of abuse, including childhood sexual abuse. I also have experience supporting neurodivergent clients and those living with mental health diagnoses. To ensure accessibility and comfort, I welcome service animals into sessions.
Above all, I want therapy with me to feel collaborative and tailored to you. However you choose to work, whether through words, creativity, or movement, we can explore together at a pace that feels right for you.
My first session
I offer a free introductory call of up to 30 minutes, which gives us both the chance to meet, talk through what has brought you to counselling, and answer any questions you may have. If you feel comfortable moving forward, the first full session is offered at half my usual fee. This gives you the opportunity to experience what therapy with me might feel like before making a longer-term commitment. In that first session, we will begin by exploring the counselling contract together, covering practicalities such as confidentiality, boundaries, and how we will work, so you know exactly what to expect. We will then spend time exploring what you would like to focus on, discuss any hopes or concerns you may have, and start to shape the way we might work together.

About me and my therapy practice
I hold a BSc (Hons) in Person-Centred and Pluralistic Counselling and am an Advanced Practitioner. My approach is rooted in the core values of the Rogerian tradition, where empathy, honesty, and a non-judgemental attitude form the foundation of the therapeutic relationship. I believe that the relationship between client and counsellor is central to healing, and I aim to offer a safe, compassionate, and respectful space where you can feel heard and understood.

My role is not to tell you what to do, but to walk alongside you as you explore what feels important, helping you make sense of your thoughts and feelings in a safe and supportive way.
I know that sitting across from someone and talking isn’t always easy, so we can shape sessions to suit you. For some, this means gentle conversation; for others, it might involve creative expression or even walk-and-talk therapy outdoors. However we work together, the focus is always on creating a relationship built on trust, empathy, and honesty.
My hope is that therapy with me feels like a space where you don’t have to filter yourself or fear judgement, but instead can begin to explore, heal, and grow in your own time.
