About me and my therapy practice
I offer a warm, calm, and supportive space where you can feel heard and understood. My approach is person-centred, which means that our work together is guided by your needs, not by a set agenda. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to support you in exploring your experiences, feelings, and challenges at your own pace.
Together, we can explore what may be troubling you, whether that's anxiety, low mood, grief, relationship difficulties, or a sense of feeling stuck. I aim to build a relationship based on trust and respect, where you can begin to gain clarity, develop self-awareness, and find your own way forward.
I work collaboratively and gently, holding space for you without judgement, while supporting you to build resilience and reconnect with your strengths.
Practice description
I work on a wide range of issues, including anxiety, low mood, bereavement, stress, relationship difficulties, and times of personal change or uncertainty.
Some people come with a specific concern, while others simply want space to reflect and better understand themselves. I offer both short and longer-term counselling, depending on what feels most helpful for you.
Sessions take place in a safe and confidential environment, where we can work together towards greater resilience, emotional well-being, and personal growth.
My first session
Our first session is a free 30-minute meeting where we can simply get to know each other. It's a relaxed space to talk about what's brought you to counselling and what you're hoping for. We will look at how we might work together in a way that feels comfortable for you and you're welcome to ask any questions. This time also gives you the chance to see if I feel like the right counsellor for you.
