About me and my therapy practice

Welcome to In-Sight Therapies. I offer a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can truly explore how you are feeling. In a world of constant change, uncertainty, and pressure, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, or low self-esteem.

My role is to provide a supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and emotions, find your voice, and develop greater self-awareness. Together, we can work towards understanding yourself more deeply and fostering personal growth.

I work inclusively and affirmatively with all clients. My practice welcomes and supports those from LGBTQ+ communities, people with disabilities, neurodivergent individuals, and members of the Global Majority. My approach is informed by professional training, work experience, and lived experience in these areas.

Practice description

I am an Integrative Counsellor, drawing primarily from Humanistic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approaches, while incorporating other techniques and theories as appropriate for each individual client.

I can help with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, anger management, and trauma.

I offer Individual Counselling and Coaching both online and in person for adults. For those who prefer an alternative to traditional in-room therapy, I also provide Walk & Talk Therapy, with route options to suit most people.

Walk & Talk sessions can be especially helpful for those who find it easier to open up while walking side by side or who are more comfortable outdoors and prefer less direct eye contact.

My aim is to create a therapeutic experience that meets you where you are, supporting you in your journey toward self-understanding, growth, and change.

I look forward to meeting you.

My first session

I offer a free 15-minute telephone consultation at a pre-arranged time. This gives you the opportunity to talk about what has brought you to counselling and to see whether my approach, availability, and locations suit your needs. It’s simply a chance for us to have a relaxed conversation, without any pressure or expectation to commit.

If you decide to go ahead, we’ll arrange your first session, either in person or  face to face online. During this session, you’ll have space to explore your concerns in more depth, and I’ll carry out an assessment of your individual needs. Together, we’ll agree on your goals for therapy and discuss the counselling contract, which outlines how we will work together (including session times, frequency, fees, confidentiality, and any questions or concerns you may have).
