I currently have availability for new clients and offer both daytime and limited evening appointments. Sessions last 50 minutes and can take place either online (via Zoom) or in person at my private practice in Maidstone. I offer a complimentary 15-minute discovery call so that you can ask questions and get a sense of whether working together feels right for you.

My usual working hours are:

Monday 鈥 Thursday: 9:30 am 鈥 7.00 pm

Friday: 9:00 am 鈥 1:00 pm

I try to be as flexible as possible, and if your circumstances mean you need a different time, please feel free to contact me and I will do my best to accommodate you.

If you contact me and I am not immediately available, I aim to respond to all enquiries within 48 hours (excluding weekends and bank holidays). Please note that I do not offer a crisis service. If you require immediate support, you should contact your GP, NHS 111, or the Samaritans (116 123) who are available 24/7.

I update this section to reflect any planned breaks from my practice. At present, I am working as normal and will provide advance notice of any upcoming annual leave so that we can plan your sessions together.

If you would like to enquire about availability, please get in touch via email or phone.

About me and my therapy practice

I am an integrative counsellor offering a warm, professional, and supportive space where you can bring whatever feels important for you. My approach draws on different therapeutic models, which means I adapt the way I work to suit your unique needs rather than following a 鈥渙ne size fits all鈥 approach.

I believe the relationship between counsellor and client is at the heart of therapy. I work in a collaborative way, where you set the pace, and we explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences together. My role is not to give you answers, but to help you discover new perspectives, develop coping strategies, and connect with your own strengths.

I have experience working with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, loss, trauma, and identity challenges. I also specialise in areas such as ADHD, PMDD, PTSD, and domestic abuse. These experiences can often feel isolating, and my aim is to offer a safe, non-judgemental environment where you feel heard and supported.

Therapy with me can be short-term and focused, or longer-term if you wish to explore deeper patterns in your life. We may work on building self-awareness, managing emotional triggers, or strengthening relationships. I am attentive to the impact of early life experiences, but also committed to helping you navigate the challenges of the present.

Practice description

My counselling practice is designed to provide a calm, welcoming, and confidential space where you can take time out from everyday pressures. Whether you choose to meet with me online or in person at my Maidstone practice, I aim to create an environment that feels safe, consistent, and supportive.

Sessions are 50 minutes and usually take place weekly, though this can be flexible depending on your needs. You are free to decide how long you would like to continue counselling 鈥 some people come for a set number of sessions to work on a specific issue, while others prefer longer-term therapy to explore patterns in more depth.

When working in person, you will find a private, comfortable room with neutral d茅cor and a peaceful atmosphere. For online sessions, I use Zoom to ensure confidentiality and accessibility.

Clients often come to me with a wide variety of concerns, from anxiety, stress, and low mood through to relationship challenges, identity struggles, and experiences of loss or trauma. I also offer specialist support in areas such as ADHD, PTSD, PMDD, and domestic abuse. Every session is tailored to your individual circumstances, and I will always check in with you about what feels most useful.

My role is to walk alongside you, offering a steady presence and professional guidance while you find your own way forward. At the heart of my practice is the belief that counselling should be a space where you feel truly heard, respected, and supported 鈥 somewhere you can pause, reflect, and gradually build the changes you hope to see in your life.

My first session

Your first counselling session is a chance for us to meet and explore what has brought you to therapy. I will invite you to share what feels most important for you right now, and we will begin to get a sense of the areas you may want to work on. There is no pressure to tell me everything at once 鈥 it鈥檚 perfectly fine to take things at your own pace.

During this session, I will explain how I work, including confidentiality, boundaries, and what you can expect from counselling with me. I will also ask a few background questions to help me understand your circumstances and support needs. Together, we will think about what you hope to gain from therapy and whether ongoing sessions feel right for you.

Sessions last 50 minutes and can take place either online (via Zoom) or in person at my practice.

For some clients, it can feel reassuring to have a clear focus in the early sessions. If helpful, I may use an assessment tool to get an overview of your well-being and identify areas we could work on together. This is always optional and led by your preferences.

My aim is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel comfortable to begin your counselling journey.
