About me and my therapy practice
About Me
Hello, I’m Gracie, a qualified counsellor and registered member of the Â鶹Դ´. I offer a warm, supportive space where you can talk openly and be truly heard, without judgement. I work with a wide range of presenting issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, and life changes. Whatever you bring, I believe counselling can be a place to make sense of your experiences, explore your feelings, and begin to move forward in a way that feels right for you.
Infertility
I have a special interest in supporting people experiencing infertility. This is such a deeply personal and often isolating journey, filled with complex emotions that aren’t always easy to share with friends or family. I provide a safe and compassionate space where you can explore your feelings, process grief or uncertainty, and find ways to care for yourself through what can feel like an overwhelming time.
Neurodivergent Women
I also work with neurodivergent women, supporting them in navigating a world that can often feel overwhelming or invalidating. My experience in education and support roles taught me the importance of accessibility, patience, and celebrating difference. I strive to create a space where you can feel fully accepted and understood, without pressure to mask or change who you are.
Sex Work
Another focus of my practice is supporting people within the sex work community. I recognise that stigma, misunderstanding, and judgment can make it hard to reach out for support. My role is to offer a confidential, respectful, and affirming space where you can bring whatever you need to, whether that’s work-related challenges or the wider aspects of life.
Practice description
My approach is person-centred — I believe you are the expert in your own experience, and I will walk alongside you with empathy and understanding. Reaching out for counselling can feel daunting, but you don’t have to face things alone. If you’d like to know more, I’d be happy to talk with you about how we might work together.
My first session
I offer a free 50 minute session to help us get to know each other and get an idea about how we might work best together.
Feel free to email me to book a session or to ask any questions about my practice.
