About me and my therapy practice

I am a Âé¶¹Ô­´´-registered therapist with a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy: Humanistic Approaches. My work is rooted in the belief that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change when given the right conditions.

My approach is integrative and tailored to each individual, drawing from a wide range of modalities including Person-Centred Therapy, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis (TA), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Solution-Focused approaches, phenomenology, existential thought, mindfulness, and dream work. These influences allow me to adapt the way I work to meet your unique needs, goals, and preferences.

With a broad range of experience supporting clients through many different life issues, I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, accepted, and understood. Whether you're facing a specific difficulty, seeking clarity or change, or wanting to explore deeper aspects of yourself, I’m here to support you.

Practice description

I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can explore what’s on your mind at your own pace. I understand that reaching out for support can feel daunting, and I aim to make the process as welcoming and straightforward as possible.

Sessions are currently offered online, allowing you to access therapy from the comfort of your own space, with flexibility to fit around your life. All you need is a private, quiet environment and a stable internet connection.

I work with adult clients on a one-to-one basis, offering sessions that can take place weekly, fortnightly, or monthly depending on what best suits your needs, goals, and availability.

My approach is Humanistic and informed by a range of therapeutic models, including Person-Centred Therapy, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis (TA), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Solution-Focused approaches, mindfulness, phenomenology, existentialism, and dream work. This allows me to tailor the work to each individual in a way that feels relevant, respectful, and supportive.

In our sessions, you can expect to be met with empathy, authenticity, and care. I will support you to explore your experiences, thoughts, and emotions in a way that promotes greater understanding, resilience, and personal growth. I don’t offer advice or ready-made answers, but I will walk alongside you as you make sense of your inner world and move towards meaningful change.

Whatever brings you to therapy, I offer a space where you can feel heard, accepted, and supported.

My first session

Your first session is an opportunity for us both to get to know one another, to explore what brought you to therapy, and to understand what you hope to gain from our work together. It’s designed to feel safe and informative rather than overwhelming.

Here’s what to expect:

Duration : The first session lasts approximately 50 minutes and takes place online.

Assessment: We’ll spend part of the session gathering some background information: what’s been happening in your life, your current concerns, what goals or changes you’d like to see, and any supporting context (past experiences, relationships, etc.). This helps me tailor how we’ll work best together.

 I will explain my approach, what counselling with me involves (modalities, confidentiality, time boundaries), and we’ll discuss how often you might prefer to meet (weekly / fortnightly / monthly).

Your Questions Welcome: This is your chance to ask any questions—about therapy, what you want, what I do, or how you’d like it to feel. It’s important you feel comfortable, and that we begin to build trust.

No Special Rate / Contract Requirement: The first session is charged at the normal rate. There is no obligation to continue beyond the first session.

Next Steps: If you decide you’d like to continue, we’ll plan together the frequency of sessions, identify some goals, and set up how we’ll work together going forward.
