Availability
I currently have limited availability for new clients and offer sessions both in-person in Liverpool city centre and online across the UK and internationally. My practice hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with some evening and weekend appointments available to accommodate different schedules.
Therapy sessions last 50 minutes and can be arranged on a weekly, fortnightly, or ad-hoc basis depending on your needs and availability. I offer both short-term and longer-term work, depending on what feels right for you.
All sessions take place in a calm, confidential setting that allows time and space to talk openly, reflect, and focus on what matters most to you. For clients joining online, sessions are held via secure video link (Zoom) for ease and privacy.
I aim to respond to all messages and enquiries within 48 hours (Monday to Friday). If you contact me outside these hours, I’ll be in touch as soon as possible during my working week.
If you’re unsure about availability or whether therapy with me feels like the right fit, you’re welcome to arrange an initial chat to discuss your needs. This can be done via email at hello@kateauguste.com
About me and my therapy practice
I’m an Integrative Psychotherapist (MÂ鶹Դ´) offering confidential, compassionate support for professionals, creatives, and high-profile individuals navigating life’s challenges. Many of my clients are people who carry a lot — responsibility, visibility, or emotional weight — and are seeking space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with themselves.
My work brings together Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, CBT, ACT, and trauma-focused approaches, alongside tools from Mindfulness and Positive Psychology. This means we can explore what’s beneath the surface while also finding clear, practical ways forward. I adapt my approach to meet each client where they are, blending depth and reflection with techniques that support real, lasting change.
I offer therapy for those experiencing grief, anxiety, burnout, trauma, relationship issues, or major life transitions. Some clients come during periods of loss or crisis, while others simply want to understand themselves more deeply, strengthen resilience, or prevent burnout before it escalates.
My style is warm, grounded, and quietly direct. I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation — collaborative, human, and transformative, not clinical or abstract. Whether we meet in person or online, my aim is to create a safe, confidential space where you can be heard without judgment and supported with care.
Alongside private practice, I also consult and train senior leaders and Mental Health First Aiders on bereavement, trauma, and workplace wellbeing, helping organisations across the UK create healthier, more compassionate cultures.
Practice description
My practice offers a calm, confidential space for you to pause, breathe, and make sense of what’s been happening beneath the surface. Therapy is a place to talk openly, explore difficult feelings, and begin to reconnect with yourself — especially if you’ve spent a long time carrying the weight of responsibility for others.
I work integratively, drawing from Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, CBT, ACT, and trauma-focused approaches, alongside Mindfulness and Positive Psychology. This allows me to adapt each session to your needs — combining emotional depth with practical tools that help you create meaningful, lasting change.
Many of my clients are professionals, creatives, or high-profile individuals managing pressure, grief, burnout, or life transitions. Others simply want to feel more balanced, grounded, and confident in who they are. Therapy with me is collaborative and conversational — focused on understanding your experience, identifying what’s been holding you back, and supporting you to move forward with greater clarity and self-trust.
Sessions last 50 minutes and can be attended in person in Liverpool or online across the UK and internationally. I offer short-term, long-term, and ad-hoc sessions to suit individual needs and schedules, with weekday, evening, and some weekend appointments available.
Above all, my aim is to provide a compassionate, professional space where you can explore what feels heavy, develop resilience, and begin to live with more ease, confidence, and authenticity.
My first session
Our first session is an opportunity to slow down and begin to explore what brings you to therapy. It’s a gentle starting point — a chance for you to talk about what’s been happening, what you’d like to change, and what you hope to gain from therapy. There’s no pressure to share everything at once; we’ll go at your pace.
I’ll ask a few background questions to help me understand your situation and any key areas you’d like support with. This helps us begin to form a shared picture of what’s been going on and what you might need most right now. Together, we’ll discuss your goals, how we might work together, and whether short- or long-term therapy feels most suitable.
Sessions last 50 minutes and can take place in-person in Liverpool or online across the UK and internationally. All sessions are confidential and held in line with the Â鶹Դ´ Ethical Framework.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical — you set the focus, and I provide a safe, grounded space to help you make sense of what feels heavy and begin to move toward greater clarity and confidence.
After the first session, you can decide whether you’d like to continue, and if so, we’ll agree on a plan that works for you — whether that’s weekly, fortnightly, or ad-hoc sessions.
If you’re uncertain about starting therapy, you’re welcome to email me to arrange an initial chat before booking. This can help you ask questions and see if working together feels like the right fit.
