About me and my therapy practice

As an integrative counsellor, I take a person-centred approach, gently incorporating elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Transactional Analysis to support greater self-awareness and improve interactions and relationships with others.

I have a particular focus on men’s mental health and men’s issues, providing a safe space where you can talk openly without judgement. My interest in men’s mental health is informed not only by professional training but also by personal experience. I have witnessed first hand the challenges men can face in expressing emotions and seeking support, which has deepened my understanding and empathy in this area. This insight allows me to create a safe, non-judgemental space where men can explore their thoughts and feelings openly. By combining personal understanding with professional skills, I aim to support men in building resilience, improving emotional wellbeing, and navigating life’s challenges with confidence.

I believe talking about your feelings takes real strength. My aim is to create an environment where you can be honest, without shame, guilt, or embarrassment.

At the same time, the core of my work is about helping people — men, women and individuals of all identities and backgrounds. No matter who you are, I bring the same energy, dedication, and care to our sessions, creating a space where you can feel heard, supported, and empowered to make lasting change.

Whatever brings you to counselling – whether it’s stress, low self-worth, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, or simply wanting to understand yourself better – we’ll work together at your pace to explore what matters most to you. Alongside this, I work with many other areas of counselling, offering support tailored to each person’s individual needs

Practice description

I offer a free 15-minute phone or video call, giving us both the chance to see whether we feel like a good fit and can work well together. This time is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the process.

You’re welcome to get in touch via text, email, WhatsApp, or by using the contact form on my website.

I currently have limited availability for face-to-face sessions on Wednesday evenings, with video sessions available on other weekdays.

I am an integrative counsellor based in Hazel Grove, Stockport (SK7), where I offer video sessions. I also provide face-to-face sessions in Stockport Town Centre (SK1), giving you the flexibility to choose the option that feels most comfortable for you. I am a Registered member of the Â鶹ԭ´´ and adhere to their ethical framework

I offer a warm, collaborative approach to counselling, drawing on person-centred therapy while integrating elements of transactional analysis and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). This blend allows me to tailor support to each individual, helping clients work through the challenges affecting their lives and move towards lasting, positive change

Counselling is for anyone who’s struggling with how life is at the moment — stress, low mood, anger, relationship problems, overwhelming thoughts, or simply feeling stuck. Many people I work with worry they’ll be judged for seeking help; in my practice I aim to create a grounded, strength-based space where vulnerability is treated as courage, not weakness.
