About me and my therapy practice

I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live with confidence, happiness, and a healthy mindset. Yet life can sometimes feel overwhelming — stress, anxiety, procrastination, social pressures, and unhelpful habits can leave us feeling stuck or unsure which way to turn.

I run a private practice offering a safe, supportive, and confidential space to explore your challenges at your own pace. As an integrative Humanistic Counsellor with a person-centred foundation, I emphasise a relational, client-led approach. My practice is grounded in humanistic values such as empathy, authenticity, and self-actualisation, while also incorporating NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and hypnotherapy to support meaningful change. I provide a flexible, compassionate approach tailored to your needs, helping you take back control and become the author of your own story.

Being trauma-informed, I work sensitively with both present challenges and deep-rooted trauma, understanding how the nervous system, brain, body, and past experiences shape our present. Talking therapy offers space to explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, while hypnotherapy can access the subconscious mind to support transformational change. By exploring links between language, thought, and behaviour, we can reframe limiting beliefs and construct empowering narratives.

Therapeutic models and techniques are valuable, but the relationship between client and therapist is equally vital. My calm, genuine, and open approach helps build trust and rapport, creating a space where empathy, respect, and understanding can flourish. Each session focuses on your needs that day, guided by the belief that you already hold the inner resources to grow and heal. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you reconnect with your strengths and supporting the changes you wish to see in your life.

Practice description

Are you struggling with negative beliefs, anxiety, depression, old patterns, limiting blocks, unresolved trauma, or just a sense of being stuck and exhausted in life? I offer trauma-informed, integrative Humanistic counselling for adults and young people, available online or face-to-face from my private practice in Ashley Cross, Poole.

Each session is guided by what feels most important to you that day, recognising that you already have the inner resources to grow and change. By examining the connections between thoughts, feelings, behaviours, memories, and relationships, we can work together to reframe limiting beliefs and build empowering narratives. My calm, empathetic, and open approach helps create trust and rapport, allowing meaningful and lasting change to take place in a way that feels safe, personalised and empowering.
