About me and my therapy practice
Hey, and welcome to my profile
My name is Chelsea, and I am a qualified Integrative-Relational counsellor.
I offer both long-term and short-term therapy, providing a confidential and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
I have experience working with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, self-esteem, life transitions, work-related issues, bereavement, childhood trauma and personal growth.
I welcome and value diversity, and I’m committed to providing an inclusive space for people of all backgrounds and identities.
Each of us holds a story that is entirely our own, formed through the layers of our experiences, relationships, and ways of being in the world. I work with an appreciation for that uniqueness, shaping therapy around you rather than expecting you to fit into it.
My approach to counselling is integrative and relational, bringing together different therapeutic models to meet your individual needs. At the heart of this is the relationship between us, a space built on trust, empathy, and understanding. I believe that healing often takes place within connection, through being truly seen and accepted as you are.
Together, we can work towards greater self-awareness, confidence, and emotional well-being, all at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
I hold a BA (HONS) integrative-relational counselling degree, and I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (Â鶹Դ´).
I have experience working as a counsellor in private practice, NHS settings and charitable organisations.
Practice description
I currently work in person and online, sessions last 50 minutes long and are usually on a weekly basis on the same day at the same time.
I offer both short term and long term therapy.
My first session
I understand that taking the first step towards therapy can feel scary or uncertain. Finding the right therapist is an important part of that process, so I offer a free 15-minute introductory call where we can talk about what you’re looking for and see if it feels like a good match.
If we decide to move forward in working together I will send you a counselling agreement prior to our first session. In our first session we will do an assessment which helps me understand more about you. Each session is 50 minutes long.
