About me and my therapy practice
Therapy can, and does, change peoples lives. It requires both you and I to be willing to invest in building trust together. This trust is the bedrock that change is built on.
I work with people who are struggling, feeling unsure or afraid, but who want to make meaningful changes in their lives. Some of the most common issues I work with are anxiety, depression, relationship issues (past or current), anger, guilt, shame, trauma, addiction, and suicidal thoughts. My values as a therapist respect pain, joy, uncertainty and everything in between. I endeavour to meet you with my heart, humility, and humour.
As a relational integrative therapist I draw on a number of therapeutic interventions and models of therapy to best help individuals understand themselves and their issues:
Relational & Psychodynamic: Exploring how early relationships and unconscious patterns influence your life today.
Embodied: Tuning into the body's wisdom, as emotions and experiences have a physical basis.
Humanistic: Honoring the unique person-to-person relationship we build in therapy.
I aim to adapt our sessions to your needs, validating your experience. Do you need to be given more space for things to surface? Or could a thoughtful question help you to get in touch with whats happening? I will check in with you, and invite you to be curious about our sessions as we work.
Sessions will happen at your pace.

Practice description
There are many parts of you, and my aim is to welcome them all, at your pace. You may find yourself not knowing or feeling uncertain. When our experience is held with compassion, it can be transformative and open up new areas of our personality.
This process of rediscovering and making peace with disowned parts of yourself is a profound act of courage. Change becomes possible when we can first meet ourselves with acceptance.
My first session
During our consultation I will ask some questions about you, what’s brought you to therapy and your history. You will also have a chance to find out a little about me and the way I work too. This session is designed as a chance for both of us to see if we have a sense of connection that would be a good starting point for therapy. This can often be a gut feeling.
If we decide we aren’t a good fit I can help find a referral for you, or pass on further resources that may be of use.
