About me and my therapy practice
I provide a warm, creative and permissive space so you can, at your own pace, explore pressing issues and emotions in the here-and-now. I believe the "body keeps the score", and the path for growth and healing involves learning how to be mindful and embodied.
Together in a relational way, we can explore how family history, society, personality traits and trauma might be hindering growth in the present, leading to awareness, acceptance and healing, whether we are working on a long-term or short-term contract.
I am confident working with clients suffering from depression and anxiety, including clients with a history of suicidality and self-harm, providing a supportive environment integral to a recovery program.
I am skilled and interested in working with gender, sexuality, and societal issues and how that uniquely affects men, women, and non-binary people. I am also excited to work interpersonally with clients from communities I belong to and am aligned with, including LGBTQ+, BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic), immigrants, religious minorities, and those interested in exploring intra- and inter racial dynamics.
Practice description
My style is person-centered (this is your space, and I will follow where you lead) with a focus on spontaneous and embodied Gestalt techniques. I can offer more than listening and talking; we can breathe, meditate, move, and use experiments and creative tools as part of the healing journey.
I use Attachment-Style theory and Transactional Analysis to bring awareness to patterns of behaviour and how family and society impact your human potential in the present. Long-term work (minimum 12 months) is incredibly beneficial for those looking to explore trauma, complex layers and old patterns, supporting life-changing acceptance and self-care.
I have a background in Hatha-Yoga teaching and basic DBT (dialectical behaviour therapy) training; these skills are beneficial on short-term contracts where the focus is getting from A to B by learning practical techniques for self-regulation.
I like to think of therapists as personal trainers for the mind-body complex. In the same way we invest time and money to keep our bodies fit and supple, an investment in counselling is about having someone assist with the stretching, regulation and maintenance of our mental health. The ultimate goal is to strengthen a self-supportive system where you can be your own healer.

My first session
During (or before) our first meeting, I will ask you to fill out two short risk assessment forms. We will explore how you would like to spend our time together and agree to a therapeutic contract.
I offer in-room counselling in the City of London (EC1) and Islington (N1). I am specialised in providing OPT (online and phone therapy). I offer flexible hours and an evening practice, and my fees vary from £60 to £90 (limited concessions available for low-income communities).
