About me and my therapy practice

Hello and thank you for visiting my page.

I’m an empathic therapist with a genuine passion for understanding and helping people. Taking the step to come to therapy is not easy and how we behave is not a ‘fault’ but a result of many factors, often outside of our awareness. I offer a warm, non-judgemental space to explore what you want from therapy and how we can achieve that together. This can take the form of behaviour change, exploration, or simply a safe space to talk. I’ll support you in whichever way you want to go. No issue is too small and it is better to seek support before you reach crisis point. Sometimes a reassuring chat is all you need so I’m happy for you to come for as few or as many sessions as you want.

I have experience working in the NHS and private sector. I hold a first class BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology, Masters in Psychological research, and a Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling. My postgraduate training includes CBT, Psychodynamic therapy and couples therapy from Tavistock Relations.

I have a background and interest in the way unconscious processes and patterns of behaviour affect our daily life that are not in agreement with how we want to be. This can lead to anxiety, depression and relationship problems.

I also work with low self esteem, grief and bereavement, trauma, anger management and disorders of the personality. Whatever you are feeling, we can find a way to understand it, giving you more autonomy over your life and a freer way of being in the world that can lead to personal growth and better relations.
