Availability
I offer online therapy with some flexibility on appointment times through the week, from 7am to 7pm, with some very limited weekend availability.
I currently have space to be able to start sessions within one week of your enquiry.
About me and my therapy practice
I offer down-to-earth, honest therapy. No jargon, no over-complicated theories- just real conversations that help you make sense of what鈥檚 going on and figure out what actually helps (not just what sounds good in theory).
This is a space where you don鈥檛 have to perform, find the 'right' words, or pretend you鈥檝e got it all together. You can show up exactly as you are - whether that鈥檚 overwhelmed, overthinking everything, or not even sure why you鈥檙e struggling in the first place.
I work with adults from all kinds of backgrounds, including neurodivergent clients and people exploring identity, sexuality, and self-expression. I鈥檓 LGBTQIA+ affirming, and I aim to offer a space where you don鈥檛 have to edit yourself to feel accepted.
I鈥檓 straightforward, approachable, and human. You can ramble, swear, go off on tangents, or sit there not knowing what to say - we鈥檒l work with whatever shows up, at your pace.
Sessions are online across the UK via video (WhatsApp or Microsoft Teams) or phone.
And if the idea of being on camera makes you want to suddenly 'lose WiFi,' you鈥檙e not alone! We can keep the camera off, stick to phone sessions, or find something that feels a bit less painful.
Online therapy gives you flexibility, privacy, and the chance to do this in a space where you actually feel comfortable and no awkward waiting rooms required.
Practice description
Hi, I鈥檓 Lynn.
If you鈥檙e here, something probably isn鈥檛 feeling great right now. Maybe your mind won鈥檛 switch off, you鈥檙e overwhelmed by everything (or nothing in particular?!) or you鈥檙e just tired of feeling like this but not sure what to do about it.
That鈥檚 usually where people start.
I鈥檓 a 麻豆原创-registered counsellor, but I won鈥檛 speak to you like a textbook. You don鈥檛 need to have it all figured out, and you definitely don鈥檛 need to say things in a certain way. You can show up exactly as you are: overthinking, stuck, frustrated, unsure鈥 all of it.
I offer online counselling for adults across the UK, which means you can do this from your own space - no rushing to appointments or pretending you鈥檝e got it together on the way there.
My approach is person-centred. In real terms, that means this is your space and we go at your pace. I鈥檓 not here to lecture you or 'fix' you. I鈥檓 here to help you make sense of what鈥檚 going on, challenge things when it鈥檚 helpful, and support you while you figure out what actually needs to change.
Some sessions will feel like a relief. Some might feel a bit uncomfortable, and that鈥檚 OK and normal. Growth isn鈥檛 always neat or tidy (annoying, I know).
I work in a straightforward, non-judgemental way. You can swear, go off on tangents, say 鈥渢his sounds stupid鈥 ten times in a row...I鈥檝e heard it all, and none of it is a problem.
If you鈥檝e been thinking about getting support for a while but keep putting it off, this might be your sign to stop overthinking it (just a little)
You鈥檙e welcome to get in touch, whether you鈥檙e ready to start or just want to ask a few questions first.
My first session
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and let鈥檚 be honest, introductory phone calls aren鈥檛 everyone鈥檚 thing, and if unknown numbers make you suddenly 'busy' or mysteriously lose signal, I get it.
I do offer (if you want it) a free 10鈥15 minute no-pressure call. Just a quick, informal chat so you can ask questions, get a feel for me, and see if it feels like a good fit.
No pressure, no awkward small talk, and no obligation to continue. If it鈥檚 not right, that鈥檚 completely fine.
What I can help with
Anxiety, Depression, Identity issues, Neurodiversity, Self esteem, Sexual identity, Trauma
Types of therapy
Brief therapy, Humanistic, Integrative, Person centred, Solution focused brief therapy
Clients I work with
Adults, Trainees, Young people
How I deliver therapy
