About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I’m Helen, a qualified counsellor and registered member of the Âé¶¹Ô´´, offering counselling in Leicester, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and online. I provide a safe, supportive and confidential space where you can talk openly, explore your feelings, and begin to make sense of the challenges you’re facing.
I work with adults in Leicester, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire who are experiencing issues such as OCD, anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, trauma, and life transitions. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply unsure of the next step, therapy can help you find clarity and new ways forward.
My approach is Integrative with a person-centred foundation. I am trauma informed which means I tailor each session to your unique needs. Some clients prefer to reflect on how past experiences affect them today, while others want practical tools to manage stress and emotions in the present. Together, we can work in the way that feels right for you.
I offer face-to-face counselling in Loughborough, Quorn, Leicester, as well as online and telephone sessions if you prefer the flexibility of working from home. Appointments are available.

Practice description

Located in the Leicestershire countryside, my practice is surrounded by open fields, woodlands, and natural beauty—an ideal environment to pause, reflect, and begin the process of personal growth.
My integrative approach means your therapy is tailored to you. Drawing from a range of therapeutic models—we work together to find what best supports your individual needs and goals.

Discreetly tucked away from the demands of daily life, I offer a place to be heard, supported, and understood. Whatever you're carrying, you're not alone—i'm here to help you make sense of it and move forward with confidence and care.
My first session
I offer a free 20 minute introductory chat that will form our assessment and give us the chance to speak to ech other to ensure a good therapeutic fit.
The relationship between you and your counsellor is important in your journey and it needs to feel warm and safe, so your choice is key, therefore after the session you are welcome to take some time to think about things, and there is no pressure to commmit to counselling if now is not the right time, or you may prefer to work with someone else.

Practice description
I have a Private Practice based in Quorn, with free parking and a wonderful green space to relax and feel heard.
I also work online so able to be flexible with your location and working hours.
My first session
Your introductory session is a free 30 minute TEAMS Video call or telehone call for us to meet and have an inital chat about how things are for you at the moment.
This gives you an opportunity to ask any questions and to meet me face to face, and for us to assess together if I am the right fit for you.
