About me and my therapy practice

Therapy works best when you feel understood and actively supported - not just listened to. Many of the people I work with come to me because they’re overwhelmed, burnt out, struggling in their relationships, or feeling frustrated that previous therapy didn’t really help. If you’re looking for a therapist who is engaged, collaborative, and able to offer clear direction when you need it, you may find my approach a better fit.

I specialise in supporting couples and high-achieving professionals who are juggling pressure, emotional overload, communication difficulties, or repeating patterns that feel hard to break. Together, we explore what’s really going on beneath the surface and create practical, meaningful change — whether that’s feeling more connected in your relationship, reducing overwhelm, or finding a healthier way to live and work.

My way of working blends humanistic, person-centred, psychodynamic, existential and Gestalt approaches, adapting to what suits you best. Some sessions may feel reflective and exploratory, while others are more structured and focused - but they’re always collaborative, transparent, and grounded in what matters most to you.

I offer individual therapy (£85 for 50 minutes) and couples therapy (£100 for 50 minutes), with sessions available online or in-person in Kings Hill, Kent. If you’d like to see whether we’re the right fit, you can reach out through my website contact page to arrange the next step.

Practice description

I offer sessions in-person, online, or by telephone - whatever feels most comfortable and convenient for you. My counselling room is private, welcoming, and discreet, based within a professional office setting to ensure confidentiality and safety at all times.

People come to therapy for many reasons: to reflect, to process experiences, to make changes, or simply to have a safe space that’s just for them. However you arrive, you’ll be met with understanding and support.

You’re welcome to begin with a single session and see how it feels, with no obligation to continue. If you decide to, we can work together in a way that suits you best - whether that’s short-term, longer-term, or a more structured, goal-focused approach.

My first session

Your first session is a chance to focus on what has brought you here and what you’d like from therapy. I’ll explain how I work, answer any questions, and then the time is yours.

For some people, one session is enough - especially if they’re looking for clarity around a particular issue or simply need a safe space to offload. This is known as Single Session Therapy (SST), and it can stand alone, or be the starting point for longer-term work.

There’s no commitment to ongoing therapy unless you want it. Some clients prefer just one or two sessions, others choose to work together more regularly - the choice is always yours.

About me and my therapy practice

A strong relationship doesn’t happen by accident - it’s built with intention, insight, and skilled support. I work with couples who value growth, emotional intelligence, and a higher standard of communication, but who may be feeling disconnected, misunderstood, or stuck in patterns that keep repeating despite their best efforts. Many of the couples I work with are successful in other areas of life, yet find that their relationship feels harder than it should - especially under pressure, career demands, parenting, or neurodivergent dynamics.

My approach is calm, contained, and highly attuned. I don’t sit back and simply observe - I guide, translate, slow things down, and help each partner feel heard without losing themselves in the process. Together, we work towards clarity, deeper connection, and a way of relating that feels respectful, secure, and sustainable.

Some couples come because communication has broken down. Others because intimacy has faded, resentment has built, or they no longer feel like a team. And some come because previous couples therapy felt passive, surface-level, or left them feeling no clearer. If you’re looking for a more engaged and thoughtful experience, you may find my style a better fit.

I bring together humanistic, psychodynamic, existential and Gestalt perspectives, adapting each session to what you need in the moment - whether that’s space, structure, reflection, or practical focus. The work is grounded, steady, and centred on creating real change rather than temporary relief.

I offer couples therapy at £100 for 50 minutes, available online as well as in-person in Kings Hill, Kent, with early morning and weekend availability for those balancing demanding schedules. If you’d like to explore whether we would work well together, you can reach out through my website contact page to take the next step.

Practice description

My practice offers a calm, private and thoughtfully held space where couples can talk openly without judgement, interruption, or escalation. Sessions are structured to ensure both partners feel heard, understood, and supported, even when perspectives differ. I pay close attention to the dynamics in the room - spoken and unspoken - and help you slow things down so clarity and connection can replace defensiveness or frustration.

You can expect a steady, contained and respectful pace, with clear guidance when things feel stuck or overwhelming. I help you make sense of communication patterns, emotional triggers, and the underlying needs that shape how you relate to one another. The work is grounded, mature and intentional, with a focus on long-term relational strength rather than short-term conflict management.

I offer 50-minute couples sessions at £100, as well as an extended 90-minute format at £180 for those who prefer more spacious, in-depth work. Sessions are available online or in-person in Kings Hill, Kent, with early morning and weekend appointments for clients balancing demanding careers and family life. My practice is confidential, professionally run, and aligned with Â鶹ԭ´´ ethical standards, so you can feel safe knowing your relationship is being supported with care and integrity.

If you’d like to explore working together, the simplest way to begin is via my website contact form, where you can outline what brings you to therapy and check current availability.

My first session

Your first session isn’t a test or an assessment - it’s a calm and structured conversation where we get a clear sense of what’s brought you here and what you both want from the work. I’m aware that couples reach out for a reason, and I don’t expect you to present things neatly or have the right words. You’ll each have space to speak, to be understood, and to settle into the process without pressure.

We’ll explore what’s happening in your relationship, what feels difficult, and what you’d like to be different, while keeping the pace steady and contained. I’ll guide the conversation so it feels balanced and respectful, even if emotions are high or perspectives don’t align. By the end of the first session, you’ll have a clearer sense of how I work and whether this feels like the right fit for you both.

If you decide to continue, we’ll agree on a rhythm that suits your needs - whether that’s regular 50-minute sessions or the extended 90-minute format for more spacious, in-depth work.
