About me and my therapy practice
I am a Â鶹Դ´-registered therapist with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Over the past two years, I have gained practical experience working as a therapist, alongside working in Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools, which provided valuable experience supporting individuals with diverse needs and challenges.
I come from a multicultural background and am able to hold basic conversations in Turkish, allowing me to connect with clients from different cultural contexts.
In my practice, I take a warm and welcoming approach, creating a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace. I believe therapy is most effective when it respects each individual’s unique journey, and I strive to offer a compassionate, non-judgmental environment that empowers clients to feel heard, understood, and supported.

Practice description
Each therapy session is 50 minutes, following the standard ‘therapy hour’ format. The final 5–10 minutes of the session are reserved for a client checkout and session overview, providing time to reflect on what was discussed and what to expect next. I also offer 70 minute sessions for those who wish to go at a slower pace. Please visit my website for a full break down of the sessions and their fees.
My practice is person-centred, which means the therapy is guided by you and your unique experiences. In a person-centred approach, I create a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. This approach helps clients feel understood, respected, and empowered, promoting self-awareness and personal growth.
While some clients may benefit from single sessions, I generally recommend multiple sessions to support lasting progress and meaningful change. To make this more accessible, I offer special rates for block bookings.
My first session
The first session is an introductory meeting where we get to know each other and explore what brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from it. It’s a space for you to share your experiences, thoughts, and feelings, and for us to discuss what you hope to achieve through therapy.
We’ll talk about how the sessions work, the structure of therapy, and any practical aspects you’d like to know. This session is also an opportunity to ask questions and see if my approach feels like a good fit for you.
The focus is on creating a comfortable, non-judgmental environment where you can speak freely and at your own pace, laying the foundation for the work ahead.
Prior to the first session we will have an introductory phone call to know if we are the right fit for one another.
