Availability
I currently work online only, offering flexible appointment options to help therapy fit comfortably into your life. My main availability is on weekdays, with one evening session each week for those balancing work or study commitments. I also offer one weekend session each month to support clients with irregular schedules or limited weekday availability.
My aim is to make accessing support as straightforward as possible, providing a range of times so you can choose what feels manageable and right for you. Whatever your routine, I’m committed to creating a welcoming, accessible space where you can focus on your wellbeing.
I offer sessions lasting 50 minutes.
About me and my therapy practice
Do you ever feel overwhelmed by stress, weighed down by low mood or shaken by the loss of a pet? Are you navigating life changes or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you? If so, you’re not alone— you don’t have to face this on your own.
I’m Allison, a qualified psychotherapist based in the UK, originally trained in Los Angeles, California, as a Marriage and Family Therapist. I specialise in person-centred and behavioural therapy, blending a warm, collaborative style with practical tools that support meaningful, lasting change. I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, tailoring each session to what works best for you and helping you move toward your personal goals.
My sessions provide a warm, open and non-judgmental space for adults navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, burnout, grief, stress, low self-esteem, or simply wanting to reconnect with themselves. I focus on truly hearing you, understanding your experiences and helping you build awareness, resilience and strategies to feel more empowered in your life.
Having lived in another country myself, I understand the challenges of adapting to new cultures, identities and life changes. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and strive to offer a space that feels safe, inclusive and respectful. I bring mindfulness, compassion and a deep appreciation for each person’s story into every session, honouring the individuality of every journey.
I am deeply committed to my work as a therapist and passionate about supporting others on their journey of personal growth and self-discovery.

My first session
I offer a free 15-minute consultation to give you an opportunity to see if we are a good fit to work together. This initial conversation allows us to meet, discuss your needs and explore what you are looking for from therapy. It is a relaxed, no-obligation session where you can ask questions, share your concerns and get a sense of my approach and style.
The consultation is designed to help you feel comfortable and informed before committing to regular sessions. It also allows me to understand your goals and provide guidance on how therapy might support you. Together, we can decide whether moving forward feels right, ensuring that the therapeutic relationship is built on trust, clarity and mutual understanding from the start.
You don’t need to have everything figured out—just come as you are. My goal is to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing your story and exploring your next steps.
