About me and my therapy practice

My Approach

I am an integrative therapist, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches to respond to your individual needs and unique circumstances. I work in a client-led way, which means you set the agenda and the pace.

I have experience working with clients facing depression, anxiety, grief, burnout, questions of identity and belonging, complex family relationships, intergenerational trauma, and inter-racial or inter-faith relationship issues.

About Me

As a person of mixed heritage, I have a particular interest in questions of identity and belonging — themes that are central to feeling safe, understood, and at home in the world. Before training as a psychotherapist, I worked in the UK civil service and international organisations and lived in both The Netherlands and Spain. This professional background gives me a strong understanding of the pressures of modern working life.

Living and working across cultures can be enriching, fostering adaptability and resilience. At the same time, it can also bring feelings of disconnection or uncertainty about where or what home truly is. This experience of belonging everywhere and nowhere was a key influence in my decision to retrain.

Practice description

You may be feeling lost, unseen, or worn down by the sense of being different. Perhaps something doesn’t feel quite right, but it’s hard to name exactly what. Living with uncertainty, self-doubt, or difficult emotions can be exhausting.

I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space to pause and reflect. Together, we can gently explore what’s going on for you, consider new perspectives, and help you find a way through with greater clarity and self-compassion.

My first session

Please contact me by email to arrange a free 15-minute introductory call. This will give you an opportunity to ask me questions and see if we would work well together.

Before our first session I will send you an agreement containing information about payment, confidentiality, cancellations and frequency of sessions.

Before training as a psychotherapist, I worked in the UK civil service and international organisations and lived in both The Netherlands and Spain. This professional background gives me a strong understanding of the pressures of modern working life, including remote working, high responsibility roles, and the challenge of balancing career, home, and family life.

Therapy can feel daunting and asking for help may well be the hardest thing to do. My role is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where we can work together to gently challenge your familiar patterns of behaviour and ways of thinking to help you navigate your way through.
