Features

About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified Child, Adolescent and Young Adult psychoanalytic psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience in child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) including inpatient and outpatient settings, educational settings, forensic psychotherapy clinic within the NHS and the charitable sector. I trained to doctoral level at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust and work with young people up to age 25, parents and families presenting with a wide range of difficulties. Alongside, independent practice I teach, provide supervision, consultation and reflective practice to professionals and organisations.

Practice description

Psychotherapy is a non-directive approach exploring underlying feelings and causes that can be hard to put in to words. Working these through and developing a shared understanding can help shift patterns of behaviour, raise self-awareness and develop new ways of being.
