About me and my therapy practice
I care deeply about people not just talking about change, but actually feeling something shift in their day-to-day lives. One of the greatest parts of my work is hearing a client say their perspective, attitude or approach has begun to feel different - that something has landed or softened in a way that matters to them. I work from a person-centred foundation and integrate other approaches when they can support you in making the changes you’re hoping for. I believe you’re the expert in your own life, and my role is to be alongside you - steady, warm, and honest.
Clients often tell me they value the combination of openness and clarity in our work, and the sense that they can show up exactly as they are. I’ll meet you where you are and adapt the sessions to what feels comfortable and supportive for you - emotionally, practically, and therapeutically.
I work with adults (18+) and couples who want to strengthen their connection, understand one another more fully, or navigate challenges together. If you’re looking for a calm, supportive space where you can talk openly, feel understood, and begin moving towards where you’d like to be, I’m here.
Practice description
I’m a qualified integrative therapist based in Wigan. I offer a warm, non-judgemental space where you can feel safe to be your true, unique self. I’m honest and to the point in my approach — but always from a caring and supportive place. My aim is to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make the changes that matter most to you.
As an integrative counsellor, I work from a person-centred foundation, meaning sessions are shaped around you and your unique needs. I draw on elements from different therapeutic approaches — including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Reality Therapy, among others — when they may be helpful in supporting your goals. This flexible, collaborative way of working allows your counselling experience to be as individual as you are.
Couples counselling offers an opportunity to reflect on the patterns, challenges, and strengths within your relationship in a supportive and neutral environment. Whether you are struggling with communication, trust, conflict, or simply wish to strengthen your connection, counselling can help you both gain understanding and work towards positive change.
Individual sessions are £50 per 50 minute session. Sessions can be conducted either face to face from my home office in Wigan, or through Google Meet.
Couples sessions are £70 per 75 minute session. Sessions take place face to face from my home office in Wigan.
I offer a 10% discount when 6 sessions are booked and paid for in advance. I also offer a discounted price of £35 per session to trainee counsellors.
To help you decide if I’m the right counsellor for you as a couple, I offer a free 20-minute consultation via Google Meets or telephone. This gives us a chance to meet, discuss what brings you to counselling, and see how it feels to work together. If you’d like to find out more or arrange your consultation, please get in touch.
My first session
The first session gives us an opportunity to get to know each other and to explore how we might work best together. We can talk about what has brought you to counselling, as well as any adjustments that may be helpful to support disabilities, neurodiversity, or personal preferences. My aim in the first session is to help you feel safe, comfortable, and able to express yourself in a way that feels right for you.
