About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative counsellor and registered member of the Â鶹Դ´, offering a warm, supportive and confidential space for adults seeking therapy.
Many of the clients I work with come to counselling experiencing anxiety, low mood or depression, feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling with self-esteem and relationships. I also work with neurodivergent clients, including adults with ADHD, dyslexia and other neurodivergent ways of thinking and processing. This may include difficulties with emotional regulation, overwhelm, burnout, perfectionism, procrastination, organisation, focus, or a sense of not quite fitting in.
Alongside my counselling training, I have a background in the creative arts and music industry. This gives me particular insight into issues such as performance pressure, identity, self-expression, perfectionism and confidence, though you do not need to be creative or artistic to work with me.
Practice description
My work is neurodiversity-affirming, meaning I do not see neurodivergence as something that needs to be fixed. Instead, therapy can offer space to better understand how your mind works, explore the impact of past experiences, and develop ways of living that feel more supportive, sustainable and authentic for you. Whether your experiences are long-standing or linked to a recent life change or diagnosis, we work at a pace that feels right.
I take an integrative approach, drawing on person-centred, psychodynamic and CBT-informed models, alongside trauma-aware practice. This allows me to adapt our work to your individual needs, rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I value collaboration and curiosity, and aim to create a space that feels safe, respectful and non-judgemental.In our sessions, you can expect a compassionate space to explore what is happening in your inner world, make sense of patterns, and develop greater self-understanding. Therapy can support you in managing anxiety, depression and neurodivergent-related challenges, improving relationships, and building emotional resilience.
I offer both short-term and open-ended counselling, and work with adults in person and online.
