About me and my therapy practice

My name is Suzi Green, I'm a qualified Psychotherapist, and I'm here to support you in making positive change in your life. My approach is grounded in warmth, sensitivity and shared awareness, and I am committed to meeting you wherever you are right now. Whatever brings you here, it's an important step and I'm glad you've taken the time to explore how I can help, whether it's your first time contacting a therapist, you've been in therapy before, or you're seeking a new direction.

There is something truly special that happens in a therapeutic alliance, it’s an opportunity to explore who you are and what may no longer serve you, in safety, confidentiality, and without judgment. Our sessions together create a collaborative space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, supported in reconnecting with your own sense of agency, trusting that the insights and answers you are seeking already exist within you, even if they feel hard to reach right now. Whether it’s a behavioural pattern, unpicking a difficult situation, or exploring a way to live a more fulfilling life, each step is yours.

Working as an Integrative therapist, I offer an individualised and whole-person approach, tailoring to your unique emotional and relational needs, walking alongside you at a pace that feels comfortable and right for you. Whether you have anxiety, depression, work challenges, a break-up, a loss of meaning or of a sense of belonging, I'm here to provide support.

I have experience with a diverse range of clients from various backgrounds, genders, religions, and sexual orientations. I can work with unconventional lifestyles, from unusual work patterns to long periods away from home, and I know how de-stabilising this can be, exacerbating feelings of isolation and poor mental health.

Our work together offers the opportunity to develop tools and resources that extend beyond our sessions, growing your resilience and self-compassion to navigate life's twists and turns.

Practice description

I work with clients both online and in person (in London), and I’m happy to tailor our sessions, whether face-to-face, fully remote or a flexible mix of both, to fit your preferences and the realities of a busy schedule.

Within a safe space, I work relationally and where relevant, holistically, with a background of training including naturopathy, nutrition, yoga and mindfulness. For some, helping to foster a connection between body and mind, and bringing a curiosity for where your body holds feelings, can be especially supportive for when emotions are difficult to put into words.

My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by both personal and professional experiences. For more than two decades, I’ve worked within the fast-paced world of creative and entertainment industries, giving me a first-hand perspective on the intense pressures people face, from the thrill of being ‘in flow’ to tough realities like imposter syndrome, gaslighting, discrimination and bullying. These challenges can leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or burned out.

These issues sometimes feel like a part of modern life, and I support people from all backgrounds and environments and if any of this resonates or sometimes feels too much, you’re not alone and it’s okay to seek support.

As a mental health advocate, I proudly serve as a Trustee for Music Support, a charity dedicated to mental health and addiction support, and as an Ambassador for Backup Tech, championing the wellbeing of behind the scenes professionals in entertainment. Alongside my practice, I lead an award-winning non-profit organisation that provides mental health and peer support services for those in music and live events, and work with organisations including British Association for Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM), the University of Westminster and BIMM Institute, bridging practical expertise with a passion for promoting positive mental health and connection.

My first session

Whether therapy is new for you or you’ve experienced it before, I invite you to a free 20-minute ‘chemistry’ zoom call so we can explore how working together might feel.

Finding a therapist you are comfortable with is important, so this informal chat is a relaxed way for us to connect, ask questions, and see if it feels like a good match, without any obligation to take things further unless it feels right for you.

I offer flexible therapy without a fixed term, tailoring our work together to suit your personal path, whether you are seeking support for specific short-term goals or are exploring deeper, longer-term growth.

I hope I have given you a sense of who I am as a therapist and how I can help you navigate life when it throws you off course. Please do get in touch with questions and to discuss how I can be of service to you.
