I offer individual therapy for children, young people, and adults, as well as therapeutic wellbeing groups for all ages. My work often incorporates creative arts and body-based approaches, which can help people explore feelings and experiences in ways that words alone sometimes cannot.
For children and young people, sessions take place in person and include creative tools such as art materials, sandtray, toys, and games. These provide a gentle and supportive way to express emotions, process experiences, and build confidence within a safe and nurturing space.
For adults, I offer both in-person and online sessions.
I offer a complimentary 20-minute consultation so we can talk about what you are looking for and see whether working together feels like the right fit.
Therapeutic Art Group for Adults – Muswell Hill
I also facilitate an ongoing Therapeutic Art Group for adults every Tuesday from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Cufos Community Centre in Muswell Hill. The group provides a relaxed and supportive space to explore creativity and wellbeing alongside others. Sessions are offered at a low cost to help keep them accessible.
The space is wheelchair accessible, and people with disabilities are warmly welcome.
If you would like more information, discuss individual sessions, or book a place in the group, please feel free to get in touch:

About me and my therapy practice
I am a Â鶹Դ´-registered Integrative Counsellor with backgrounds in biology and art, and I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Therapeutic Arts and a Diploma in Child Counselling. I offer a creative, trauma-informed, and relational approach, supporting children, young people, adults, and families to explore their experiences in safe and meaningful ways.
Working with children is central to my practice. I use a child-led, arts-based approach, incorporating tools such as art materials, sandtray, toys, storytelling, movement, and imaginative play. These help children express themselves verbally and non-verbally, develop emotional resilience, and build confidence. Sessions are trauma-informed and developmentally attuned, prioritising emotional safety, trust, and pacing according to each child’s needs. I have experience supporting children across schools, charities, and community settings with a wide range of emotional, social, and behavioural challenges.
As an integrative counsellor, I tailor therapy to each individual. Sessions may include creative expression, reflective conversation, storytelling, or body-based awareness. Child and young person sessions are held in person, while adults can access therapy in person or online.
In my full-time work in Hackney, I support a diverse community and welcome individuals aged 16 and over, children, and families from all cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Fluent in two additional languages, I bring international experience to my practice, creating an inclusive space where every person’s story is heard and respected.
Practice description
I offer a safe, thoughtful, and creative therapeutic space for children, young people, and adults. My work is grounded in a trauma-informed, relational approach that recognises how experiences are held both emotionally and physically. Through conversation, creativity, and gentle body awareness, therapy can support people to better understand themselves, process difficult experiences, and develop healthier ways of coping.
With children, I work in a child-centred and developmentally attuned way. Sessions may involve art materials, toys, sandtray, storytelling, movement, or imaginative play. These creative forms of expression allow children to communicate feelings and experiences that may be difficult to express in words, helping them make sense of their emotions while strengthening confidence, resilience, and emotional regulation.
With adults, sessions may include reflective conversation alongside creative or body-based approaches where helpful. Some people find that working creatively can open new ways of exploring feelings, while others prefer a more conversational style; the process is always guided by what feels most comfortable and meaningful for the individual.
My training at the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education (IATE) focused on integrative and arts-based therapeutic practice, with particular attention to child development, attachment, play, and creative communication. I also incorporate grounding and sensory-based practices to support emotional regulation and a sense of safety.
Therapy is a process that unfolds over time. With a supportive and consistent therapeutic relationship, clients often develop greater self-understanding, emotional clarity, and a stronger sense of wellbeing.
My first session
When working with children, the first step is a parent or carer meeting. This provides an opportunity to talk about what has brought your child to therapy and to begin building a shared understanding of their needs. We may discuss your child’s development, family relationships, important life events, and any emotional or behavioural concerns you have noticed. This helps me form a fuller picture of your child’s experiences and the context around them.
The meeting is also a space for you to ask questions, learn more about how creative arts & play therapy works, and consider whether my approach feels right for your child and family. Together we can think about the next steps and how therapy might best support your child.
For adults joining a therapeutic art group, the first session offers a gentle introduction to the group and the creative process. We will explore your intentions for attending, talk about how the sessions work, and begin establishing a safe and respectful group space. You will also have the opportunity to share any needs or boundaries and ask any questions so that you can feel comfortable participating.
