About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Sam, a person-centred therapist working online with adults across the UK. At the core of my approach is the belief that therapy should be a space where you feel genuinely heard and accepted without judgment and without pressure. As well as working privately with clients I also work for Music Support, a mental health charity supporting musicians and music industry professionals.
Before training as a therapist, I spent over 10 years in supportive roles within the charity sector. That work gave me a solid foundation in working with people facing a wide range of challenges: mental health issues, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, and more. It also shaped how I show up in the therapy room: with empathy, patience, and respect for your unique experience.
I offer a down to earth, collaborative approach. I won’t give you advice or tell you how to live your life. Instead, I’ll work with you to explore what’s going on, help you make sense of things, and support you in making choices that feel right for you.
I’m a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Â鶹Դ´), which means I work to professional standards and I am committed to ethical, reflective practice.
