About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Jack. I’m an intuitive, person-centred, and empathic therapist with a genuine passion for helping people.
I understand that people come to therapy for different reasons, which is why I take an integrative approach. This means I can draw from a range of therapeutic models to tailor our sessions to your specific needs. Whether you prefer to work towards clear goals or take your time exploring challenges, I’m here to support you at your own pace.
Together, we’ll explore the unconscious beliefs and patterns that may be influencing your decisions and behaviours. By gaining insight into these deeper influences, you’ll feel more empowered to make healthier, more informed and autonomous choices in your life.
I offer a judgement free, relaxed space that allows you to explore yourself.
Practice description
I am an Integrative Therapist, qualified in Psychotherapeutic Counselling, with additional training in CBT techniques.
I offer therapy both online and in person from my practice in Jesmond, NE2. The space is warm, welcoming, and private, located just a 5-minute walk from the metro, with 2-hour free parking available in the adjacent street.
Session Fees:
Individual therapy: £60 per session
Couples therapy: £95 per session
I have experience in:
- Bereavement
- Anger management
- Stress management
- Relationship issues
- Trauma
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Work/life balance
- Preventing burnout
- Guilt
- Low self-esteem
- OCD
Additionally, I have training in CBT for Couples Therapy.
I enjoy using creative approaches such as metaphor, drawing, clay, and sand tray work. These techniques can help express internal feelings in a tangible way, allowing for deeper exploration and insight. I also enjoy working cognitively, giving you time to reflect and allowing the pieces to fall into place as you make connections.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Â鶹Դ´) and the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), adhering to their high ethical standards.
My first session
I offer a no-obligation, free phone conversation to give you the opportunity to ask any questions and share a bit about what’s bringing you to therapy. This is a chance to see if I feel like the right therapist for you, as I understand how important it is to find someone you feel comfortable opening up to.
In our first session, I’ll listen carefully to understand what’s brought you to therapy and we’ll explore what you’re hoping to achieve. Together, we can discuss which therapy model might suit you best, along with your short- and long-term goals.
We’ll also talk about the frequency and duration of sessions based on your needs and availability. Sessions are 50 minutes long and can be held either in person or online.
I’ll also gather some background information to help me better understand your current experiences, and you’ll receive information about our policies, my professional memberships, confidentiality, and our therapy agreement.
