About me and my therapy practice

Feeling burnt out, like you're not 'enough', experiencing harsh inner critical voice and disconnection? Admitting you are drowning is the first step to NOT drowning.

Hi, I’m Hayley, a qualified Integrative Counsellor and registered member of Â鶹ԭ´´ (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy). I am warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth, dedicated to supporting people through their difficulties, offering a safe and supportive space where you can begin to explore what’s troubling you, at your own pace.

Therapy can help with many difficult life problems which we can face - from coping with traumatic experiences and events, to dealing with depression and anxiety or managing harmful emotions and behaviours. Maybe you are struggling with feeling stressed with the demands of work, family and relationships, or coping with changes in your life, or feelings of low self-worth. I offer a safe, supportive space for you to talk and feel heard, maybe for the first time in a long time, to explore the issues you are facing and support you to develop the hope, strength and belief in yourself to enable change and growth. Together, we can create space to heal same and build self-trust.

Practice description

I tailor my approach to your needs, drawing from person-centred, psychodynamic, and gestalt approaches. I bring a creative and compassionate style to therapy to suit each individual. In a collaborative relationship, we may work with not only your thoughts and emotions, but also experientially and creatively to gain a deeper sense of self - always guided by what feels right and meaningful for you.

Many of the people I work with come seeking support for anxiety, low self-esteem, and deep-rooted questions around self-worth. I also have experience supporting those who are healing from spiritual abuse or harmful religious experiences - helping them reconnect with their own inner voice, values, and autonomy.

Our work together might involve exploring the roots of your struggles, making sense of painful experiences, and gently uncovering new ways of relating to yourself and others. My aim is to walk alongside you with empathy and care, helping you feel more grounded, empowered, and at home in yourself.

My first session

It is important to find the right person to support you. I welcome you to get in touch with me for a 20 minute free consultation so we can get a sense of each other and how I can help you. We will discuss what to expect in therapy and discuss a suitable regular appointment. Currently, my face-to-face sessions are full so I can only offer online therapy.

If you would like to know more and would like to talk further, I look forward to hearing from you.
