About me and my therapy practice

As an integrative practitioner, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, including person-centred, psychodynamic, and CBT-informed ways of working. This means I can adapt our work to suit your individual needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

I believe the therapeutic relationship itself is central to meaningful change and I work collaboratively, with respect and compassion, and tailored to each individual.

I believe that meaningful change happens when clients feel heard, respected, and supported in a space that is both safe and non-judgmental. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I work alongside you to understand your unique experiences, strengths, and goals.

I view therapy as a partnership. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you explore patterns, develop insight, and build practical tools that support lasting change. Sessions may involve reflection, skill-building, gentle challenge, and curiosity—always guided by what feels most helpful and appropriate for you.

My work is grounded in evidence-based practices while remaining flexible and responsive to your needs. I aim to balance depth and practicality, helping you make sense of past and present experiences while also focusing on what can improve your day-to-day life. Progress is not rushed, and we move at a pace that feels right for you.

Above all, I strive to create a therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, and authenticity, where you can show up as you are and work toward the changes that matter most to you.

Practice description

I offer a warm, client-centred and confidential space to explore whatever is bringing you to counselling. As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches and tailor our work to your individual needs.

I look to support you to develop greater self-understanding, building resilience, and choice where clients can explore concerns, gain insight, and work toward meaningful change.

I aim to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to move forward at a pace that feels right for you to explore thoughts, feelings, behaviors, emotions and experiences.

My first session

I offer a free 20-minute initial discussion to talk through your needs, answer any questions, and see whether counselling feels right for you and that we both feel that we can work together.

If we do decide to work together, I will then email you a counselling contract outlining the agreed terms, arrange a date and time for our 1st session.
