About me and my therapy practice
Are you feeling confused, lost and alone? A smile masks the sadness and fear inside. You feel stuck in an endless cycle of thinking 鈥淭his is all going to go wrong鈥. I can help you feel seen and heard, finding calmness, discover ways forward and regain hope.
What can I help you with?
I specialise in supporting women navigating issues around fertility, pregnancy loss, fertility related health issues including PCOS and endometriosis, body image, early menopause and menopause.
These are deeply personal and often isolating experiences and can have a profound impact on self-esteem, identity, and emotional wellbeing.
Fertility, miscarriage, hormonal and menopause struggles can feel all-consuming - feeling as though you鈥檙e viewing the world through a bubble of pain or emptiness, while others find it hard to understand or talk about what you鈥檙e going through.
I support you to feel heard, understood and calmer. Together we鈥檒l navigate the rollercoaster of emotions.
My work is grounded in both professional training and personal experience.
What is my approach?
I offer a down-to-earth, compassionate approach that honours your unique story. You don鈥檛 have to 鈥渉ave it all figured out鈥 to start therapy, whether you鈥檙e feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, or simply need space to reflect, we can begin wherever you are.
I integrate creative and body-based approaches where appropriate. These might include visual or imaginative techniques, inner child work, and guided visualisations, especially useful for accessing deeper insight or working with trauma.
I am trained in hypnotherapy, creative therapeutic techniques, and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), and draw on these tools flexibly to support your goals.
My experience:
I have years of experience working with people, families and children. I have personal experience around women鈥檚 health issues and fertility.
If this resonates with you, then get in touch and we can start simply by having a conversation.
Practice description
At Creatively Dreaming Therapy, I offer a gentle, compassionate space for women navigating the challenges of fertility difficulties, pregnancy loss, hormonal changes, or identity transitions. These experiences can bring deep emotional pain, touching your sense of self, relationships, and hopes for the future.
My aim is to walk alongside you with warmth, empathy, and respect, creating space where you can explore your feelings freely and begin to find healing and meaning at your own pace.
My approach is humanistic and integrative, grounded in empathy and creativity. I draw on counselling, hypnotherapy, and creative therapeutic techniques to help you express and process what can sometimes feel beyond words. Together, we may use imagery, metaphor, or gentle creative tools to reconnect with your inner strength and self-compassion.
I understand that everyone鈥檚 journey is unique, whether you are processing loss, navigating fertility treatments, adjusting to hormonal or menopausal changes, or seeking to rebuild confidence and connection after trauma.
With over 30 years鈥 experience supporting others through change and loss, I offer sessions in person and online for adults and young people.
I am a Registered Member of the 麻豆原创 and the National Hypnotherapy Society.
At Creatively Dreaming Therapy, I believe in empowering change through creativity and compassion, helping you rediscover hope, identity, and emotional balance, even through life鈥檚 tenderest seasons.
My first session
The first session is an important starting point for us to get to know each other and begin to explore what has brought you to therapy. It鈥檚 a gentle introduction to the process and an opportunity for you to see how it feels to talk with me and ask any questions you might have.
During this session, we鈥檒l spend some time completing an information form together. This includes gathering some background details about you, such as your personal history, key life events, relationships, current support network, and any relevant health information. This helps me build a fuller picture of your world and how best to support you.
I鈥檒l also invite you to share more about what鈥檚 led you to seek therapy at this time and what you hope to gain from it. There鈥檚 no pressure to explain everything straight away, we鈥檒l go at your pace, and there鈥檚 no 鈥渞ight鈥 way to begin. This session is as much about you getting a feel for the therapy process and deciding whether it鈥檚 the right fit for you.
You are very welcome to ask questions, about how I work, what to expect from therapy, or anything else you鈥檙e unsure about. I aim to offer a calm, open, and non-judgemental space where you can begin to feel safe and supported.
At the end of the session, if we both feel that we鈥檙e a good fit and you鈥檇 like to continue, we can arrange further sessions together. There鈥檚 no obligation to continue after the first meeting, it鈥檚 completely your choice.
The first session lasts 50 minutes and is charged at my usual rate of 拢60.
