About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I'm Layla.
I am a warm, grounded, Counsellor and Psychotherapist offering confidential online 1:1 therapy sessions via Zoom.
I work Relationally with clients who seek growth and change with steady support to get there. I offer authenticity, gentle challenge and active participation in sessions with you.
A Relational approach is particularly helpful for those who struggle with feeling anxious, avoidant or confused in close relationships; perhaps struggle with trust, boundaries, or emotional closeness, feeling 'not enough' or 'too much', over-giving, people-pleasing and self-silencing; or repeating familiar but painful relational patterns.
Progress might look like you showing up more authentically with others, taking greater risks, a greater tolerance for uncomfortable feelings like anxiety and shame, communicating more openly with others and feeling more resilient.
I dedicate much care to the therapeutic relationship, to ensure that what we explore feels contained, well-paced and manageable for you. I bring an adaptive, emotionally agile approach - I'm able to hold anger, fear, grief and everything in between.
I offer a free 20-minute introductory zoom call to have a chat about what you hope to get from therapy and to see whether we might be a good fit to work together.
I offer a little more information about me and the way that I work on my website: www.laylaeissa.com.
