About me and my therapy practice
I am an engaged and interactive therapist with a deep respect for my clients’ self-agency and individuality. I deeply care about providing a safe space where you can be seen and heard.
I support people with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, and difficulties with self-esteem and self-worth. I work with neurodivergent clients (Autism and ADHD) and support clients in exploring identity, as well as the many interconnected challenges that can affect daily life and overall mental well-being.
I am trained in the Humanistic approach, which integrates Person-Centred, Gestalt, and Transactional Analysis. I also use elements of CBT. I have a background in psychology and use this knowledge to provide support in a safe, research-informed way.
I work in an open, non-defensive and collaborative way, inviting regular check-ins and feedback to ensure therapy feels right for you.
Alongside my private practice, I work with a mental health charity helping make psychotherapy more accessible.
Practice description
My practice is located in a quiet location just 5 minutes from Richmond Station, and in Twickenham. I also work online via secure video.
Training, qualifications & experience
I initially trained in Therapeutic Skills and Studies at The Metanoia Institute (London, UK), before completing a BSc (Hons) in Humanistic Counselling at Middlesex University London and a Clinical Diploma at The Metanoia Institute. I have four years of university-level training.
I have also completed additional specialised trainings, including:
- Certificate in Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy and Coaching, Operation Centaur, London.
- Certificate in Working with Refugee People and Their Families, The Tavistock and Portman, London
I am fully insured, receive regular professional supervision, and undertake ongoing CPD courses to continue developing my skills.
I have experience working across the NHS and a range of mental health charities.
My first session
First Contact
Please get in touch via the contact form. I usually respond within 24 hours and am happy to answer any questions you might have.
The initial session is offered at a reduced fee of £50. There’s no obligation to continue afterwards. My usual fee is £70.
First Session – What to Expect?
I understand that the first therapy session can sometimes feel daunting and my role is to support you from the very beginning. The first session is an opportunity for us to explore what brings you to therapy, discuss your goals, expectations and needs, and address any questions you may have.
We will also talk about how we might work together, including the frequency and potential length of therapy. This will be reviewed regularly as part of our ongoing work. Some people benefit most from long-term therapy, while others experience meaningful change in just a few sessions - the duration always depends on your needs and goals.
You are very welcome to get in touch if you’d like to know more or have a chat about how we might work together.
