About me and my therapy practice

Through an open and honest conversation, we'll find out what's going on beneath the surface, and explore the deeper currents that bring you discomfort.

I won't tell you what to do, but will help you to find your own path. I never forget that you are the expert on your own life, respecting who you are and where you come from.

We might take a Solution-Focussed approach: a purposeful, goal-oriented method that can dispel harmful patterns of thinking and behaviour in a relatively brief period.

Or you might find that you have dark corners that can only be illuminated by longer-term explorative therapy. In which case, we might use Person-Centred, Existential and Gestalt techniques to help you untangle the emotional patterns that may be holding you back.

I will find a way for us to work together through meaningful dialogue. And together, we will seek to find a new way forward.

Practice description

I work with adults of all ages.  I offer a calm, mature, intelligent, culturally engaged dynamic, backed by genuine curiousity about you and your world.

Sessions are available online via secure video link or in person in East or North Oxford.

About me and my therapy practice

You are the expert on your own life - I respect who you are and where you come from. And so, I will never tell you what to do - but help you to see yourself in new ways.

We will have an open conversation to which you can bring whatever seems important. And we’ll hold it in a welcoming, confidential arena where you can talk with complete freedom and honesty.

Together, we'll find out what's going on beneath the surface and explore the deeper currents that bring you discomfort.

I work with adults of all ages. I provide both short-term focused work and longer-term explorative therapy.

My approach is pluralistic, drawing on Gestalt, Person-Centred and Existential schools of therapy to help you untangle the emotional patterns that may be holding you back.

I also use a Solution Focussed approach: this seeks to dissolve long-standing harmful assumptions and patterns by setting purposeful goals  and reframing your perception of yourself.

From our dialogue will emerge a new understanding of your problems; this in turn enables you to reframe your story and formulate a way forward.
