About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified, Â鶹Դ´-registered Integrative Counsellor & Trainee Clinical Hypnotherapist specialising in LGBTQ+ counselling, gender dysphoria, trauma, and Men's Mental Health. I offer a calm, affirming therapeutic space in Dalston, Hackney, and online.
I specialise in LGBTQIA+, Trans, and Non-Binary mental health (trained by Gendered Intelligence), offering judgment-free space for clients who are tired of having to explain their identity before the real work can begin. I support clients in navigating challenges around gender dysphoria, discrimination, identity-based trauma, attachment difficulties, sexual identity, low self-esteem and family issues related to LGBTQIA+ identity.
I also have a dedicated focus on Men's Mental Health. Whether you're experiencing relationship problems, loneliness, work-related stress, or grief, I draw on over a decade of experience as a barber and degree-level research into the stigma, inherited masculinity norms, and cultural barriers that prevent men from accessing therapy. This has shaped how I make therapy feel accessible, approachable and more effective for male clients.
As a Solution-Focused Clinical Hypnotherapist, I work with clients experiencing social anxiety, generalised anxiety disorder (GAD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, stress, burnout, insomnia, ADHD, and perfectionism. We do this using Solution-focused brief therapy, evidence-based techniques, and hypnotic trance to calm the nervous system, shift unhelpful patterns, and align subconscious and conscious goals.
Whether you are grappling with the weight of depression or suicidal thoughts, caught up in anxious procrastination patterns or neurodivergent burnout, recovering from trauma or abuse, or simply feeling stuck in old patterns, I offer a space where you don't have to educate, justify, or explain yourself.
Outside my private practice, I work part-time as a counsellor for an LGBTQIA+ charity in London.
You are welcome exactly as you are.
Practice description
My approach is truly integrative, blending the "deep work" of the past with a focus on your future. I work across three primary pillars, combining short-term, solution-focused strategies with long-term exploratory processes to help you make meaningful change.
- Existential & Psychodynamic - We explore the "givens" of life: freedom, responsibility, and the search for meaning. By examining early patterns and current transitions, we identify the roots of anxiety or feeling "stuck."
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) - I don't believe therapy should be endless talking without results. SFBT helps you identify your strengths and build a concrete "blueprint" for the life you want to lead.
- Clinical Hypnotherapy - For clients looking to break habits, manage phobias, or reduce chronic stress, I integrate clinical hypnotherapy to calm the nervous system and align subconscious goals with conscious action.
I am currently offering a limited number of reduced-rate Clinical Hypnotherapy sessions while I complete the advanced stage of my qualification.
My first session
I know that starting therapy can feel like a daunting step, especially if you've previously felt misunderstood or unseen in clinical settings.
We begin with a free 15–30 minute online consultation, giving you the chance to ask questions, share what's brought you to therapy, and get a sense of whether my approach feels right for you. If we decide to work together, our first full session will focus on your immediate concerns and longer-term hopes.
You don't have to arrive with everything figured out; we can take it at your own pace.
