I offer therapy in-person in Central London as well as online via Zoom and Microsoft Teams. I provide 1:1 therapy sessions both in English and French. About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified, registered and insured integrative psychotherapist with clinical experience working in mental health settings within the private, NHS and charity sectors. I am also a certified and accredited eating disorders specialist, and a Master Practitioner in Eating Disorders, accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS). I work with adults from all backgrounds and I support clients with a wide range of mental health difficulties and emotional challenges.
My main areas of expertise are eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder…), domestic abuse, narcissistic abuse, personality disorders, all types of abuse (emotional, physical, legal, financial, sexual abuse…), gender-based violence, coercive control, trauma, PTSD, Complex- PTSD, relationships, and self-esteem.
I have also extensive experience working with challenges including depression, anxiety, panic attacks, relational and family difficulties, infidelity and betrayals, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, work-related stress, burnout, attachment issues, body image issues, addiction, loneliness, chronic nightmares, life transitions, phobias and mood disorders.
I view every client’s personality and lived experience as unique, and I work in an integrative way, drawing from a variety of modalities and evidence-based therapeutic approaches, to tailor my approach to each client’s unique needs.
My approach involves kindness, trust, openness and empathy, and I work with you in an inclusive and collaborative environment where you can feel deeply respected and listened to. I believe that the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist is an essential aspect of successful therapy and I work with you to build a strong therapeutic alliance. My role as a psychotherapist is to provide you with support, understanding and professional guidance throughout our work together.
Practice description
I meet my clients where they are in their journeys and work with them at their own pace. My aim is to provide a warm, caring and non-judgmental therapeutic space where you can feel completely safe to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences. I offer both short-term and long-term therapy, depending on what you are looking for and what corresponds best to your needs.As an integrative psychotherapist, I am trained in a range of therapeutic approaches including Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Transactional Analysis (TA), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Trauma-informed care, and Mindfulness-based approaches. I am also specifically trained in CBT-E (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy-Enhanced for eating disorders).
Additionally, I work from a trauma-informed perspective, with a deep awareness of the complex impact that trauma can have on your life. Through both clinical experience of trauma and personal experience of intimate relationship abuse, I fully understand how trauma can affect your sense of self, your relationships, your physical health, and your feeling of safety in your environment. My clinical experience and personal insight into trauma allows me to support you with sensitivity and compassion.
