About me and my therapy practice

Welcome, whether this is your first time seeking therapy or you are returning I am glad you are here.

I believe each person's life journey is unique, and this shapes who we are.  i am here to listen and my approach to counselling is to create a warm and confidential space where you are free from judgment to be heard and understood.

Real change happens when we feel safe and I tailor my approach to support your needs, at a pace that is comfortable for you, one step at a time.

Practice description

I offer long-term and short-term counselling and my experience includes working with people who are feeling anxious, depressed, dealing with family or relationship issues, grieving a loss or are experiencing a change in life.

If you are dealing with long-term health conditions, feelings of loneliness, self-confidence or self-esteem challenges or are feeling overwhelmed or stuck please know that you are not alone. I understand how stress and life balance can take a toll and I am here to support you.

Through my work with carers (paid and unpaid), I recognise the challenges and deep impact this role can have on you, those you care for and other relationships. If you are feeling overwhelmed, remember that it's ok ask for help. Together, we can explore your caring role and your overall well-being.

I also support neurodivergent adults and the parents and caregivers of neurodivergent children. If you’ve received a late diagnosis of ADHD or ASD, I can help you understand what this means for you, how your past may have been impacted and explore strategies to help you thrive.

My first session

I understand that reaching out for help can be a big step, and to support you with this, I offer a free introductory 15-minute telephone conversation. This gives us the chance to answer your questions and talk about what you hope to gain from counselling.

After this, I work in person from a private office in KT19. Sessions last for 50 minutes, usually on a weekly basis but this can be adapted to fit your needs.
