About me and my therapy practice

Hi, I鈥檓 Aisha, a counsellor who believes in the power of being truly heard.  I am a person-centred counsellor, currently based in Baldock, where I am able to see people on a face to face basis, online or over the phone.

D you feel overwhelmed, anxious or stuck?

Life can feel heavy- whether you鈥檙e navigating anxiety, grief low self esteem or simply feeling lost without knowing why. You may be lying in bed at night, unable to make sense of what is going on inside, wondering why you feel powerless or as if you are running on autopilot.

It can be hard to explain these feelings to others, especially when you don鈥檛 fully understand them yourself. Perhaps you tell yourself 鈥淚 shouldn鈥檛 feel this way鈥 or worry what others might think. I offer a compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can explore your feelings, unpack your experiences and begin to heal.

As a counsellor I will support you to

-Understand and process difficult emotions

-Gain clarity and insight into your thoughts and experiences

-Make positive changes in your life

-Gain a sense of empowerment and control

My counselling style is warm, gentle and collaborative. I believe you are the expert of your own life. My role is to walk alongside you as we explore your experiences, self beliefs and emotions. Together we can uncover the confidence and strength that already exists within you.
