Availability
I currently have space to welcome new clients and I offer counselling both online and in person, with sessions available Monday to Thursday.
I aim to provide flexibility around your needs, and will always update this profile and you with any planned breaks, so you can feel reassured about continuity of the support I aim to offer you.
About me and my therapy practice
Hi I'm Louise, a qualified Counsellor. I welcome new clients where you will find my approach to be warm, person-centred and collaborative.
You bring the wisdom of your own experience, and I offer a nurturing and honest space where we can uncover meaning, understanding, and ways forward together. You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, stress at work, relationship challenges, bereavement, or low self-esteem. Whatever you bring will be met with empathy and without judgement.
Together, we can explore your experiences, uncover patterns and support you in finding new perspectives and solutions.
Practice description
In my practice, you can expect a calm and supportive environment where you are free to explore whatever feels important for you.
Sessions typically last 50 minutes, giving you time to reflect and process at your own pace.
I offer both in-person and online appointments, providing flexibility to suit your schedule.
Together, we will work collaboratively, focusing on the areas of your life that matter most to you, with space for understanding, problem-solving, and personal growth.
My first session
I offer a complimentary 30-minute consultation online, so we can explore whether my approach feels like the right fit for you.
In our first full session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and discuss what has brought you to counselling. I’ll explain how I work and we will talk through the Client Contract which discusses important subjects such as confidentiality, safeguarding and GDPR for example. In this session, I can answer any questions you have, and we’ll talk about your goals and expectations of counselling and what you hope to achieve.
Sessions typically lasts 50 minutes and can be held online or in person as detailed above.
My aim is to create a supportive space from the very start, so you can feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and experiences.
