About me and my therapy practice
You are the expert on your own life, that is why I work with you, not on you. Our work will always move at your pace, in partnership. My role is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, valued and empowered to explore your thoughts and emotions deeply and honestly. My role is to support you with honesty, appropriate challenge, and practical tools as you make sense of where you are and where you want to go. You will be able to talk freely at your own pace, every session will be led by you, your needs and goals.
No two people are the same, so there is no one size fits all approach here. I draw on a wide range of therapeutic models to support you.
By blending elements from both counselling and coaching, I offer a holistic, integrated framework that supports your emotional wellbeing, personal healing and growth and practical goals. Whether you are navigating difficult emotions, working through past experiences or aiming to move forward in your career, we will build a process that is tailored to you. Whether you are looking to work through something painful or simply want to grow, gain clarity or change direction, I tailor my approach to meet you where you are.
Prior to training as a counsellor and coach I worked for 25 years in leadership roles across a range of industries. I held senior HR leadership roles and led global teams. Throughout my career, I have supported individuals at all levels from graduate to executives helping them grow, achieve their goals and thrive. This background gives me a strong foundation in understanding both personal and professional development. I understand the pressures and complexities of modern life and work.
I combine this experience with formal qualifications in counselling, coaching and mentoring, offering a collaborative, supportive space for personal healing and growth. We will work together to define your goals, explore what is standing in your way and create a path to help your move forward.

I’m a qualified counsellor, coach, and mentor, and I support people like you to reconnect with their strengths, move past what’s holding them back, and step into the life they want to lead.
If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, or not quite yourself, you're not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out alone. I'm a qualified counsellor, coach, and mentor based in Great Dunmow and Stansted, offering support in-person and online. My work is all about helping you reconnect with your inner strength, feel more like yourself again, and move towards a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling.
Together we will work through what is important to you, whether its current challenges, past trauma, or self-limiting beliefs that have been holding you back. My goal is to help you understand what’s going on beneath the surface and give you the tools to heal, grow and thrive..
My first session
In our first session, we will talk about how you are feeling, what has brought you here and what you would like to achieve. I will take a detailed history which allows me to understand your individual needs/situation and tailor my approach to meet them. We’ll talk through how you’re feeling and what you want to get out of our work together. From there we will work together to create a therapeutic relationship based on trust, honesty and kindness.
I take a holistic approach which means I see and support you as a whole person. not just your challenges. We will explore what matters most to you, uncover your values and strengths and help you make confident, meaningful decisions about your future.
