About me and my therapy practice
Hello, my name is Alice and I’m an Integrative-Relational therapist.
I work with people experiencing a broad range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, work stress, identity questions and low self-esteem.
I provide a safe and affirming space for neurodivergent people (including late-diagnosed and undiagnosed) and understand that not everyone experiences the world or expresses their thoughts and emotions in the same way.
I also have experience supporting people who are dealing with grief and loss and have volunteered at a bereavement charity for a number of years.
Practice description
I work in an integrative way, which means I can draw on a range of approaches to best suit you as an individual.
Because sometimes it’s difficult to process what’s going on inside us, I aim to build a warm, trusting therapeutic relationship, so you feel supported and safe as we explore what has led you to therapy. Our time together can help you manage feelings and gain insight as you find a meaningful way forward.
I offer short-term therapy (from 6 to 20 sessions) or longer-term open-ended therapy.
I work with adults (18+). Sessions are 50 minutes.
For a free introductory 20-minute phone call, please contact me by text or using the contact form provided.
My first session
In the first session I will ask questions to find out about you, what has brought you to therapy, and what you hope to gain. You can share whatever you feel comfortable with and ask any questions you might have.
The first session is an opportunity for you to gain a sense of whether I'm the right therapist for you. There is no pressure to continue after this first session if you do not wish to. However, if you would like to continue, we can arrange a regular day and time for ongoing counselling sessions.
Qualifications and Experience:
I have a first-class BA (Hons) degree in Integrative-Relational Counselling from Middlesex University.
I have worked as a counsellor at an NHS surgery in London for a number of years and also provide bereavement support for a national bereavement charity.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Â鶹Դ´) and adhere to its code of ethics, requirements for supervision and Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
