About me and my therapy practice
I’m Amy, a Level 5 person-centred counsellor dedicated to offering a warm, supportive environment where you can feel fully accepted and safe to express yourself. I’ll meet you where you are, and together we’ll explore what’s on your mind—gently and without judgment.
Person-Centred & Personalised
No one-size-fits-all here. I tailor my approach to honour your individuality and moving at a pace that works for you.
Non-Judgmental & Compassionate
You can share your thoughts and feelings freely, knowing you’ll be met with empathy and understanding—not advice or criticism.
Holistic Focus
My approach nurtures emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being to foster growth and healing in a holistic way.
Why I Practice This Way
I’ve experienced firsthand how challenging it can be to access compassionate support during difficult times. My own journey fuels my passion for making therapy more human, accessible, and grounded in empathy.
Ready to Begin?
Reaching out might feel daunting—but you don’t have to do this alone. Whenever you’re ready, simply get in touch (via the contact page) and I’ll gently guide you through the next steps.
Practice description
At Safe to Grow Therapy, I offer a warm, supportive space where you can pause, reflect, and begin to make sense of what’s going on in your life. As a qualified, person-centred therapist, I work collaboratively, at your pace, to help you explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment.
Whether you’re facing anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship issues, or simply feel stuck, I aim to create a safe and confidential environment where you can gain clarity and confidence. Sessions are tailored to you – blending empathy, active listening, and therapeutic techniques to support your personal growth and well-being.
Available:
Evenings: Monday to Thursday, 7:00–9:00 pm
Weekends: Saturday, 3:30–8:30 pm
Together, we’ll focus on what matters most to you, helping you grow at your own pace and move towards the change you want to see.
My first session
I offer a free 15-minute introductory session so you can get a feel for how I work and decide whether I’m the right therapist for you.
