About me and my therapy practice
I'm a psychotherapist and counsellor based in Barnes and Clapham, South- West London and I offer sessions in person, online and by phone. I have a First Class Honours BSc in Humanistic Counselling and am a trained mediator.
I aim to help people experiencing low mood, depression or anxiety or those facing a life transition or loss. I can also help if you are looking to understand yourself better. My previous career as a Family Lawyer equips me to support those going through a relationship breakdown or involved in court proceedings.
I have trained in Nonviolent Communication and have undertaken a foundation course in Psychedelic-assisted therapy. Please note, I do not accept enquiries for psychedelic assisted therapy or psychedelic integration therapy.
It is important that you chose a therapist that is the right fit for you, so I offer an initial 20 minute phone conversation, free of charge, to explore what is happening in your life and to see if we would work well together.
Practice description
I understand that it can feel daunting to seek support. I offer therapy which is confidential, respectful, supportive and non-judgmental, so that you can explore how you feel and what you truly want. I will focus on your thoughts, feelings and actions as a way to work out the best way forward.
I place an emphasis on the quality of our relationship, as research shows this is the most significant aspect of therapy outcomes, rather than the type of therapy offered.
I have an interest in working with the nervous system and emotions in the body to access an inner wisdom for healing and recovery.
My first session
At our first session, we can look at whether you would like to work together for a limited number of sessions, for example 6 weekly sessions of 50 minutes each or whether longer term work might be more suitable.
