About me and my therapy practice
Each person chooses to engage with a counsellor for different reasons in different seasons of life. Perhaps you have a clearly defined issue or challenge that brings you to seek a counsellor, or maybe it's more of an underlying feeling that you can't shake.
It takes courage to admit you are struggling with something, and even more courage to seek support. But no matter what it is, or how long you have put it off, it is never too late to make a change.
As a counsellor, I aim to nurture a supportive and non-judgmental space where I can meet you where you are and come alongside you as you navigate life's challenges.
By creating a therapeutic space together, I aim to support you in leading a holistically healthy and vibrant life.

Practice description
I believe every person is intrinsically valuable and is at their best when they can experience and freely express their worth in their lives. On the other hand, when we encounter circumstances that challenge our sense of worth, this causes us emotional and psychological pain.
My role as an Integrative counsellor is to come alongside you, my client, as you explore and seek to better understand how your sense of worth has been challenged and eroded. Through our counselling sessions, I aim to partner with you to carefully draw from different therapeutic approaches (a core characteristic of Integrative counselling) to find what best supports you in growing beyond your life challenges and becoming more emotionally mature and holistically healthy.
My first session
Our first session together will be a consultation session, at a lower rate of £40. This initial session is not a counselling session but a time to explore why you are seeking a counsellor now, your goals for counselling, and any concerns you might have. It is also a time for us to see if we are a good "fit".
If you are neurodiverse or have any other needs, we can also discuss what adjustments can be made to make our future sessions more supportive for you.
