About me and my therapy practice
Are you feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or stuck?
Whether you're navigating anxiety, low mood, identity challenges, or simply longing to feel more at home in yourself, counselling can offer a space for you to pause, explore, and reconnect.
I'm Jodie, a qualified Integrative Counsellor with additional training in neurodiversity. I work with young people (11+) and adults, offering a compassionate, creative, and collaborative approach to therapy.
I tailor our work to meet you where you are—drawing on talking therapy, somatic awareness (connecting to the body), and creative tools like imagery, metaphor, and art materials (if that suits you). My aim is to create a space where all parts of you are welcomed, including the parts that may feel messy, masked, or misunderstood.
Whether you're seeking support for anxiety, low self-esteem, burnout, sensory overwhelm, or navigating life as a neurodivergent person (diagnosed or self-identified), you're not alone—and you don't have to figure it all out by yourself.
I offer a warm, non-judgmental space where your experience is honoured and respected. Together, we can explore what you need to feel safer, more empowered, and more connected to yourself and others.

About me and my therapy practice
Are you feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or stuck?
Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, low mood, identity challenges, or a general sense of disconnection, counselling can offer a space to pause, reflect, and begin to understand yourself more deeply.
I’m Jodie, a qualified Integrative Counsellor with additional training in neurodiversity. I work with young people (11+) and adults, offering a compassionate, reflective, and collaborative therapeutic space.
My approach integrates person-centred and psychodynamic perspectives. This means our work is grounded in the relationship we build together, while also exploring how your past experiences and patterns of relating may be influencing your present. I believe that meaningful change happens through self-awareness, emotional understanding, and genuine human connection.
Creativity is also an important part of my practice. When words are not enough, we may use imagery, metaphor, or art materials to support expression and insight. These approaches can help bring a deeper, embodied understanding of your experiences.
I have experience supporting people with anxiety, low self-esteem, burnout, sensory overwhelm, and those navigating life as a neurodivergent person (diagnosed or self-identified).
Whatever brings you to therapy, you don’t have to face it alone. Together, we can create a space where you feel safe to explore, develop greater self-compassion, and move towards a more authentic and connected way of being.
Sessions are available online or in person.
I do not believe a person's financial situation should be a barrier to support. I offer a few concessionary sessions a week for those on a low income. I also offer a student rate for those in counselling training.
Get in touch for a free initial conversation. I look forward to hearing from you.
