About me and my therapy practice

People often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of what they’re feeling, only that something doesn’t feel right. My role is to offer a steady, compassionate presence as we begin to explore what’s going on underneath.

I work integratively, combining psychodynamic, person centred, Jungian, existential, and transpersonal approaches. This means I can flex my approach to meet you where you are, whether that’s working with the past, exploring relationships and patterns, or engaging with deeper questions around meaning, identity, and soul.

My work is grounded in the belief that mind and body are deeply connected. Emotions can live in the body, and part of our work may involve gently bringing awareness to physical sensations, breath, or tension, especially when words are hard to find.

Clients often describe me as warm, grounded, intuitive, and gently challenging. I hold space for big emotions, but also for the quiet ache or numbness that can be hard to name.

Some clients come with a clear issue such as grief, anxiety, loss, or life changes. Others are less sure. Both are welcome. You don’t need to have the right words. Together, we can make sense of things at your pace.

My areas of focus include grief in its many forms including bereavement, miscarriage, endings of relationships, and identity loss as well as low mood, anxiety, trauma, and the search for meaning.

Alongside one to one therapy in London and Buckinghamshire, I also run group sessions and therapeutic workshops exploring themes of loss, transition, and connection.

Practice description

My practice offers a calm, supportive space for you to explore what’s going on beneath the surface. Whether you're in the depths of grief, navigating a life transition, or feeling numb and unsure why, you’ll be met with warmth, presence, and care.

I work one to one with adults in private practice in Buckinghamshire and London. Sessions are 50 minutes long and held weekly. Depending on your needs and goals, therapy can be short term or open ended.

I also run monthly therapeutic groups and workshops designed to support people through grief and change. These include Beyond Loss, a reflective group exploring different forms of grief including bereavement, baby loss, identity shifts, or the end of a relationship in a safe and nourishing space.

My approach is integrative and transpersonal, meaning I draw on a range of therapeutic traditions and techniques to meet you where you are. This may include talking therapy, body awareness, creative imagination, dreamwork, or exploring the wider context of your life story.

I believe therapy is not about fixing you, but about helping you reconnect with yourself,  your needs, emotions, boundaries, and longings. My intention is always to walk alongside you, gently supporting your own process of healing and self discovery.

I work with a range of issues including grief and loss, anxiety, low mood, trauma, relationship struggles, and the quieter losses that can feel hard to name such as a loss of confidence, direction, or purpose.

My first session

I offer a free 15-minute phone or video consultation so we can briefly connect before booking a first session. This is a chance for you to get a feel for me and ask any initial questions. There’s no pressure to decide anything in the moment, it's simply a space to see if it feels like a good fit.

If you decide to go ahead, the first full session is 50 minutes and charged at my standard rate. It’s a gentle starting point where we can begin to explore what brings you to therapy, what you might be hoping for, and what support could look like for you. There’s no need to prepare anything or have all the answers, just bring yourself as you are.

I may ask a few questions to get a fuller picture of your background and current situation, but the session is led by you and your pace. You're welcome to share as much or as little as feels comfortable.

Sometimes, people feel immediate relief from speaking honestly and being met with care. For others, it takes time to feel into the space. However it unfolds, I’ll be alongside you each step of the way.
