About me and my therapy practice
My focus is on you and your journey. I believe that every person has the ability to understand themselves, make choices, and find solutions that work in their own life. My role is to provide a supportive, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences safely. Together, we will work to uncover your strengths, access your own insights, and develop practical, self-sustaining strategies for positive change. I take a person-centred approach, rooted in the belief that you have innate worth and potential, and that reconnecting with your authentic self is central to growth and healing. My aim is to guide and support you, respecting your autonomy, so you can move forward with confidence and create the life you want.
Practice description
I offer a space where clients can engage with their challenges openly and safely, supported to gain clarity and insight into their experiences. I work collaboratively with each individual, helping them identify practical approaches to overcome difficulties and make choices that align with their values and goals. The approach combines respect for each client’s unique perspective with guidance towards self-directed solutions, fostering personal growth, resilience, and empowerment. Emphasis is placed on creating an environment of trust and acceptance, where clients are encouraged to explore their potential and build the skills needed to move forward with confidence.
My first session
I offer a complimentary 20-minute first session, giving us the opportunity to get to know each other and explore whether my approach is the right fit for you. During this session, we will discuss your current challenges, your goals for counselling, and what you hope to achieve, while also giving you the chance to ask any questions about how I work. This initial meeting is designed to help you feel comfortable and confident about taking the next steps in your journey.
