Availability

I currently have availability for new clients and offer online sessions across the UK, as well as in-person sessions in Buckhurst Hill, London (I will be relocating to Teesside in Summer 2026, where I will continue online work and offer in-person sessions locally.)

Appointments are available Monday to Thursday, 10am鈥6pm (limited later evening sessions available).

If you would like to ask about availability or register your interest, you鈥檙e welcome to get in touch. I aim to reply within 24鈥48 hours, so please check your junk folder if you don鈥檛 see a response.

About me and my therapy practice

Hi, I鈥檓 Lucy, an integrative counsellor who works with adults.

I support people who may feel anxious, burnt out or like they鈥檝e been holding a lot on their own.

You might recognise yourself in moments like:

  • Lying awake at night, unable to switch off
  • Replaying conversations or worrying what others think
  • Saying 鈥測es鈥 when you鈥檇 rather say 鈥渘o鈥
  • Feeling tension or anxiety in your body
  • Finding it hard to say what you need or express how you feel

This can show up as overthinking, people-pleasing or feeling like you鈥檙e always trying to keep up.

It鈥檚 also common to wonder whether what you鈥檙e going through is 鈥榮erious enough鈥 for therapy.

You鈥檙e welcome to bring what feels important to you.

Many people come to therapy hoping to:

  • Speak openly and feel heard and understood
  • Make sense of their feelings, thoughts and reactions
  • Feel calmer in their mind and more settled in their body
  • Set boundaries and feel more secure in relationships
  • Find ways to navigate and process overwhelming emotions

I offer a grounding, steady space where we can gently explore what feels difficult, without pressure to have the 鈥榬ight鈥 words or a clear starting point.

Rather than trying to change who you are, we can begin to understand how you work and what you need to help make life feel more manageable and true to you.

Practice description

I鈥檓 a 麻豆原创 registered integrative counsellor with a degree level Diploma in Integrative Counselling.

I鈥檝e worked in both NHS services and private practice. I engage in ongoing supervision and professional development.

I have experience supporting people with:

  • Anxiety, stress and overthinking
  • Depression and self-worth
  • Relationship patterns and communication
  • People-pleasing and masking
  • Work stress and overcommitting
  • Loss and grief
  • Health-related concerns
  • Self-image, desire and sexuality
  • Self-harm and coping strategies

I work with both neurotypical and neurodivergent clients, and recognise that your experience is your own. We will work together to understand things from your perspective.

As an integrative therapist, I take a whole-person approach, taking into account your past, present and future. Our work isn鈥檛 one-size-fits-all, but shaped around you as an individual.

In our sessions, I offer space for reflection, gentle curiosity and thoughtful challenge. We will take time to notice and understand what鈥檚 coming up for you, at a pace that feels safe.

At the heart of my work is the relationship we build together. Having a space where you can be seen, heard and accepted can be quietly powerful, often bringing a sense of relief in itself. From there, things may begin to feel clearer and you might notice a growing sense of trust in yourself and confidence in your direction.

My practice is inclusive and affirming, welcoming people from all backgrounds and identities, including those who are LGBTQIA+.

My first session

I offer a free 15-minute phone call so you can ask any questions to get a sense of whether working together feels right for you. There鈥檚 no pressure or obligation, just a gentle starting point.

The first session is a space to get to know each other. We鈥檒l explore what鈥檚 been going on for you, what you鈥檙e hoping for and how we might work together in a way that feels supportive.

Therapy works well with consistency, as this allows trust to grow naturally. Weekly sessions are helpful for building depth, but sessions can be shaped in a way that feels realistic and sustainable for you. A regular day and time can be agreed and your space held. If your schedule varies, flexible times can be discussed.

Change takes time and isn鈥檛 always linear, but gradually things can begin to shift in a way that feels more steady and lasting. Sessions can take place for a number of weeks, months or more long term. It depends on what you鈥檙e bringing and what suits you, which is something we can review together.

You鈥檙e welcome to let me know about any preferences or needs that would help you feel more comfortable, including things like communication or sensory environment.
